List of Francisco Amaya Md's Reviews
In my experience, Dr Amaya didn't take the time to listen to my health concerns nor treat me as an individual. Anything I tried to tell him, I had to do several times as he was always too busy with his computer.
We love dr Amaya!
worst Dr I have ever seen in 66 years
I wish I could give him 0 stars. I recently took my 79 year old mother in-law to see her primary physician (Dr. Amaya). Since her last visit with him (for the same issues as this visit) she had been hospitalized twice, been in severe pain, confused, dizzy, and unable to drive. I will spare you the details but will say this, this man is very indifferent, uncaring and disrespectful to say the least. He had no interest in anything she had to say. He constantly interrupted her, spoke over her and got louder as he did it. He disputed the hospitals findings although she had the same results twice. I was astonished at his complete lack of concern. After about 10 min of this I spoke up for her and he basically ended the appointment gave her a piece of paper to give the front desk and left. I am one who does research before I give a review and found he graduated in 1991 from Bogota Colombia and no continued education that I could find. He did do his residency in the U.S. over 28 years ago and he does have a AZ State Medical license (How is beyond me). I do not recommend this So called Doctor. We will be finding her a new primary.
He is a non compassionate dr. Doesn’t ask u questions about how ur feeling, when u go it seems very rushed and unprofessional. I wouldn’t recommend it’s a thumbs down!!!
“Dr.” Amaya is just terrible we went in just a week ago to ask about the veins on my grandmothers legs & all he said was he THINKS it’s a rash & didn’t do any further investigation or prescribe anything for her. Wouldn’t recommend him at all looking for a new dr for us. I seen other reviews & I would say driving the extra couple miles to casa grande will be worth it.
Dr Amaya is a very intelligent Doctor. He definitely knows his profession. I'd love to have him as my primary physician. The only halt to that is. He does not respect patient rights. He does not allow patients to actively participate in their own plan of care.
Excellent treatment and patient care with my 88 year old mother. My mother suffers from a complex mix of diseases and Dr. Amaya has always done an excellent job of handling her conditions and is very respectful. The rest of his staff is also very kind and are always alert and open to answering any questions.
DO Not see Francisco Amaya he is the worst doctor I have seen. He does not listen nor read any of your past records. He does however lie in his reports about you. I asked at my last visit with him about stopping smoking he told me that with everything else I have going on to not worry about it at the time. In my records he stated I'm refusing to stopping. Has basically called me a drug addict but refuses to test me. Not to mention he totally over books himself. So you will wait at least an hour . Quack I will be reporting this higher up
This is a nasty individual who has very poor bedside manners; always in a hurry; spend most of his time on his laptop. If you are concerned about your health avoid this man.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
