Not many places are willing to accommodate to people during a difficult time. Suzy and Collin helped by doing more than expected and went out of their way to help us get what we needed when our situation made things hard for them. Very dedicated staff. They handled my grandparents with so much patience and kindness.

I've been seeing Dr. Mahanti since 2001 when I needed routine check ups for a family history of melanoma, and to maintain my vision with eye glasses and contact lenses. However, as an avid mountain and road cyclist, and a photographer, the use of eye glasses were not ideal, and my contacts were constantly getting scratched and lost. So, in 2005, after much research, I decided to get LASIK surgery with Dr. Mahanti. He and his staff were compassionate and very knowledgeable leading up to, during, and after the procedure. I was so pleased with my results, that I eventually talked my husband into getting the PRK procedure (he was not a candidate for LASIK). There are no words that could ever express my gratitude for the professional care that I have received, and of course, my corrected vision through Lasik. I highly recommend Dr. Mahanti for any ophthalmology needs you or your family may have.

Working with the doctor was fine, no major problems there. Their billing and work with insurance has been a mess though. I had multiple claims denied through my insurance from this office but they never notified me of it. They claimed my primary care provider filled out the pre-certification form incorrectly. I never got denied from any of the other pre-certification forms she filled out though at other offices. Instead I just got sent a bill saying things were 60 days overdue. I swear I put a check in the return envelope and sent it to them and then two or three months later I received another bill for the same amount. After checking my accounts it seems that the original money was never taken out. No idea why. They don't have any online payment service and they only answer their phone during work hours of course when I'm busy and can't generally spare the time to call. With all the inconveniences it seems better for me to probably just go somewhere else.

A caring staff from Dr. Mahanti to all the medical assistants and pre-operative counseling. Honest advice for the best course of care. All questions answered in a patient, clear and unhurried manner. We visited other eye surgery centers, and we felt costly add-ons not covered by insurance were being sold. None of that with Dr. Mahanti and his staff. Post-op nurses were caring and helpful in assisting patient to our car. The entire staff clearly enjoy what they are doing and demonstrate real care and empathy towards the patient and their family.

I received laser eye surgery and couldn't be more happy. I mostly saw Ellie and Dr Mahanti, but everyone there is friendly and helpful. I see great and highly recommend this business. I also highly recommend the PRK eye surgery.

Dr. Mahanti took several phone calls during my visit, many were personal, which caused him to lose focus and lengthened my visit. He acted surprised that I didn't have prism glasses for my eye condition so I asked if he could prescribe them. His response was"They are a pain to measure and a pain to order so put off getting them for a while longer".

Dr Mahanti did both my eyes with Panoptics IOL's. I couldn't be more pleased. Outstanding service, care, surgery and facilities. Highly recommended.

TERRIBLE SERVICE! Doctor Can’t seem to help me, never reviewed tests he ordered, was not even present at 2nd appointment...Doctor seems “OK”...support staff alright...WORST two ladies I’ve ever encountered at reception desk...One checks you in, One checks you out...poor attitudes?...TERRIBLE SERVICE!???...I work in healthcare myself, plus 20+ years of service, I would give 1 star if I didn’t think the actual techs were good at their jobs...Front Reception and follow up scheduling, just terrible!???...maybe they are related?!...They should not work in any service position, except maybe fast food where they could be humbled a bit.

I had an excellent experience. Pre / post op staff were great as well as the team that performed the cataract lens replacement surgery. I strongly recommend Dr. Mahanti and his staff to anyone needing this procedure.
