The Simon Med in Flagstaff was fantastic! Joey at the front desk was helpful, professional, kind, AND happy! The technicians did a great job. I was in and out. I recommend them to anyone.

There was confusion and delay. I was previously scheduled 3 days previously but it wasn’t in time for insurance approval so it was rescheduled to this date. I live 45 minutes away and received a call shortly before the appointment saying that my scan was not approved by insurance. However, they had put in the wrong order and the wrong order had been sent for approval. That was corrected but I’m not sure why there was confusion between a lumbar MRI and a pelvic MRI. The assistant asked me if I wanted to continue with my appointment and of course I said yes because I need the results as part of my treatment plan. I showed up 30 minutes in advance and completed my paperwork. However, I was not taken back until an hour and a half after my appointed time. I was the only one in the area and was not given any updates. I was literally the last person out of the door behind the employees 2 1/2 hours after my appointed time of 4 PM. I believe they could’ve been more communicative about the delays and should have done the initial process much more cleanly. As a healthcare professional and physician I interact with many radiology departments and while this was convenient to where I live I will likely travel further next time for a better experience.

The front office girl was great! Very friendly. The guy giving the exray was very unfriendly. He should be nicer and more friendly. He made getting an exray unpleasant.

They were efficient and not too crowded in these covid times. They even offered a blanket during the testing because it is cold in there.
