Affiliated Dermatology-Gilbert's Online Review Report Card

I had to have an excision on my neck, and I was incredibly nervous about the pain. Amina was the best! She eased my fears and numbed me up so good that I did not feel a thing! I would highly recommend Amina at Affiliated Dermatology. She takes great care of her patients.

I used to like this place, but now it's a joke! I called on Friday morning and left my number for a call back. I was called eight hours later at 5:27 pm. I couldn't get an appointment until late July, which I understand. On Monday I received a text from Yesenia at Affiliated at 8:26 am. She asked for my name and DOB, which I provided. I explained it was for my son and was on a waiting list at Gilbert. She had a 12:30 appt on Monday or Tuesday. I asked for the 1230 Tuesday appt. She never confirmed. Then at 3:21 on Monday I received a text from Mary. Asking for my name and DOB, which I provided and then she disappeared. Do Not attempt to contact anyone by phone. They play some message about Covid affect their wait time. SAY WHAT??? People need to stop with the Covid excuses for POOR service!!!

Went in June 2021 to talk about both acne & a small cyst on my collar bone. The person who did my appt was SO rude & told me that there is no cause of acne & it has nothing to do with diet or anything else. She basically laughed at me for asking & told me that the only thing that can help me is taking one of 2 VERY strong medications. This was probably a 3 minute appt for $60.Then the next day I got the small cyst removed for ANOTHER $60 & the doc said “we should have just done it yesterday-idk why she had you schedule another day”. Doc was nice.Then my stitches were spitting out & I had to go back in to have them helped/pulled out.Then they continued to spit so I came back AGAIN & the next lady told me the last one didn’t take them out right. She told me if it keeps turning white & spitting, give it a couple months.A few months goes by & the white is still there but underneath & not spitting….so I call & get a complimentary appt where they poke it & squeeze something out. This lady tells me that if it fills up white again, that it means the doctor didn’t take the whole cyst wall out the first time.I call a couple weeks later & tell them its still filling up & ask to be seen as a follow up since the doc didn’t do if right the first time. I no longer have insurance. Scheduler tells me I’d have to pay like $300 to be looked at. Even after I explained the whole situation & she “talked to a supervisor”.So if the doc doesn’t get it out right the first time…YOU have to pay to be seen again. Now that spot looks worse than it ever did.

AVOID THIS PLACE! They do not care about patients and have terrible customer service. They exist to take your money, feed you word salads and get to the next on the list.

Fully convinced this place is run by a bunch of clowns. The lack of professionalism is something to behold.

This place makes you wait long periods of time to see doctors that don't care about you. They rush you through the door and only care about your money!

Avoid this place. Do your research and go to another dermatology clinic that specializes in skin issues. This place only cares about taking your money and delivery on a terrible experience of referring to you another place if it's outside of injecting your face.
