Anthony Aghenta's Online Review Report Card

Dr Anthony was absolutely great. I needed a new PCP, because my previous dr moved out of state. So I decided to step out of my comfort zone, because typically I prefer female doctors. Dr asked a lot of questions, had great bedside manner, and the staff was very helpful & friendly staff. In addition, I submitted a question via the patient’s portal , not only did he respond, but he called me personally to make sure all the information was clear. Dr Anthony also set up all prescriptions at my local pharmacy immediately. Great all around experience and I HIGHLY recommend him.

He made me feel comfortable every time I come in. I am not a native speaker so he listens to me and explained everything to me very well. He is the best. Would definitely recommend!

Dr a is the best dr i have ever had . he careing and wants the best for you. And the girls up front are the best very careing for the paints .

Dr. Aghenta is someone who will listen to you and he prescribes with care. My husband became his patient a few months ago, and now me. He is kind in his word and good in his manner. His exam is thorough and he works to get you better.

I would give them 6 stars if I could! Supporting staff is phenomenal. Very welcoming and on top of their jobs. As for Dr. Aghenta, I can honestly say that he is providing the interaction and focus that is missing in most medical practices these days. He is the Dr. I have been looking for ever since I moved to AZ. He pays attention to every detail as you present your issues and provides meaningful responses. To put it bluntly - He cares. More than any of the Dr.'s offices I have been in for quite some time. The office even provided an emailed summary of my visit! Thank you for everything!

Ive been seeing Dr Aghenta since he opened his private practice. He is very thorough and takes time to understand everything before making a diagnosis and/or treatment plan. His staff is very attentive and they also provide a myriad of health and wellness services (love the Meyers cocktail) So glad I finally found a doctor I can trust

I was so impressed with Dr. Aghenta and his staff. Everyone was kind and friendly, and Dr. took his time and didn't make me feel rushed whatsoever. I am so glad I found Dr. Aghenta as my new new PCP! Added bonus...they do blood draws ON SITE and you don't have to go to a lab.

I was looking for a closer PCP who I could talk to without feeling rushed and Dr. Aghenta was the perfect doctor for me. Even though I was just there for my annual, seeing his pamphlets like “sexual dysfunction is not just a man problem” really made a statement that told me he was a good and comforting doctor who would make anyone feel safe no matter the diagnosis. I was able to present my entire family medical history to him, get all of my concerns answered, and a blood test all within 30 minutes. I was surprised at how quickly I could get a room and get my exam done! I would also like to mention how friendly his staff were. As soon as I entered I was greeted and felt very welcome. To put it into perspective my blood pressure always runs high at a doctor’s office due to nerves but this was the first time it was in the normal range! Overall this was the best experience I have had at a doctor’s exam and I look forward to returning for my annuals every year.

Reason for the 1 Star: I am two days late refilling my prescription, requested the doctor approval the refill but office policy dictates that I make an appointment for blood work prior to refill. This means there will be at least a week gap taking the medication (if daily medication is not important why am I on it?), the blood work will be useless since I am not on the medication necesitating another office visit to do more bloodwork after I am on medication for a couple weeks. Office policy getting in the way of doctor thinking of what would be best for the patient. Another example of where we would be best served moving US Healthcare to Cloud Based AI - at least overtime it would make decisions that lead to improved outcomes. Try someone else....

He’s pleasant, kind very knowledgeable and is accommodating. Both my husband and I see him.
