Wonderful doctors and staff.

Dr Kreutz is very personable taking time to answer any questions I may have.

AVOID this physician at all costs. I am a healthcare professional, and I attended my Mom's rheumatology consultation with Dr Kreutz. Dr Kreutz spent more time listening to the physician associate regurgitate information than he did actually speaking or examining my mother. My mother has systemic scleroderma, and this was her first consultation with a rheumatologist. Dr Kreutz was awful, he would have spent zero time explaining the disease to my mother and/or reviewing the treatment options had I not asked. Additionally, he was very misleading in my mother's overall prognosis. He down-played her symptoms and stated that he believed her condition to be "mild". In some ways I am not surprised his assessment was so off the mark. How can you possibly have an accurate assessment of someone if you only spend 10-15 minutes in the room with them, especially when 50% of that time is listening to the physician associate regurgitate his notes. I am not a rheumatology specialist, but clinically my mother's health has severely declined over the past 2-3 years which does not align with a "mild" condition. My mom ultimately consulted with a different rheumatologist, and it was 1000x more informative, thorough, and aligned with my mother's clinical picture. If you or a loved one has systemic scleroderma, Dr Kreutz is NOT your guy! I do not feel he is overly familiar or even confident in treating this rheumatologic disease. Additionally, he appeared quick to pass the "buck" to cardiology and GI and dermatology specialists even though rheumatology should be the anchor to all these additional sub-specialties. I would highly recommend seeking a rheumatology opinion elsewhere.

Very knowledgeable and kind. He actually believed me when I mentioned my symptoms, whereas other rheumatologists would dismiss me.

I definitely like that Dr. Kreutz takes the time to listen to my concerns and answer questions without feeling like I'm being rushed. He seems to genuinely care about my health. I would recommend him to anyone needing a rheumatologist.

I’ve had rheumatological issues for 20 years. I’m familiar w/ the medical system as I’m also a healthcare provider. I have had excellent providers in my journey. I describe being in the presence of Mr. Kreutz as dehumanizing. No attempt to build rapport w/ me, hardly a greeting & then sat down & talked about me & my case in front of me to his assistant w/out ever discussing anything w/ me. When I expressed disappointment & asked for what I reasonably expected, he became defensive & antagonistic. My G.P.’s referral to him was for RA & fibromyalgia. He says he doesn’t treat fibromyalgia (some studies show ~40% of RA patients have concurrent fibro). Yet he accepted the referral, wasting my time & money. He had over 2,000 pages of my medical records + endorsements for my disability including a functional capacity assessment that describes my impairments. I asked for a disability parking endorsement & he flippantly said, “Are you sure you need this?!” Also gave me incorrect info about RA.
