My name is Raul Banuelos. I am a current cancer patient of Dr. Ross. Dr. Ross is a great doctor. Dr. Gross had great advice for me in the start of my cancer diagnosis. My thoughts were to do something different. I managed to put myself in a really bad life and death situation going against his advice. Despite of my choices, he was there when I needed him the most. I currently feel amazing and feel blessed he is apart of my life. Thank you Dr. Gross for everything, you are amazing! Can’t thank you enough Dr. Gross.

When I was first diagnosed with cancer the best decision I ever made was to go to ironwood Cancer and research center! Super caring and thoughtful staff. My oncologist was amazing. And my radiologist was amazing as well. Dr Gross really cares about my physical and emotional well-being. I've never met a doctor that will just sit and chat with me for 10 minutes about life in general. We don't have to sit and talk about cancer for 10 minutes. I feel like he is genuinely invested in me! Do yourself a favor and go see him he's absolutely amazing!

I had 4 weeks of radiation for breast cancer. I only saw Dr Gross in person twice. He was always covering for another doctor at another location. He never explained the radiation process to me or told me what was going on. I would recommend asking for a different doctor. The radiation techs were very nice however.

Dr gross is the most disgusting, narcissistic, no compassion, doctor I have ever come across. I wouldn't give him one star. We were ready to have him replaced, but my husband passed away before we could. Highly recommend you request another radiologist.

A family member of mine has recently been diagnosed with terminal cancer. This has been an overwhelming and difficult time for both my family member and myself, but Dr. Gross has made the experience far much more difficult. After one week of radiation, my family member started experiencing excruciating pain and side effects. Prior to the treatment, he did not inform us of the possible side effects, ...

A competent radiation oncologist. But as of 2017, Dr. Gross did not fully communicate the side effect risks of external beam radiation when treating prostate cancer patients. I am cancer free, but suffer from incontinence after 45 radiation blasts from Dr. Gross' facility. I also required surgery and hyperbaric oxygen treatments to stop the bleeding following radiation. I wish I had obtained a second opinion regarding my treatment. Ask questions!

I was extremely disappointed in the way he handled a consultation with me. He was pessimistic, uncaring and frankly not as knowledgeable as other doctors I have met with. I strongly recommend seeking advice from another radiologist.

We have met twice with Dr. Gross for consultations and have chosen him for his expertise in treatment. I have never met a doctor SO informative, highly intelligent and relaxed about the amount of time he is spending with you. We got ALL of our questions answered to our satisfaction ! His manner is empathetic but honest. He is young enough that his expertise is current and cutting edge. (no pun intended) ;-) He really knows his stuff. He and his staff are very accommodating and resourceful. You can tell that he enjoys his work and that means a lot. We highly recommend him !

I was a patient at TUCC since 1998 (before the new building. After all those years and biopsies, they tell me I have inoperable cancer. They sent me to their Radiation Oncologist. He started the interview with talking about having children. I am in my sixties (children are not a consideration). I told him my sexual orientation (I had nothing to do with it). He immediately began to laugh at me. He go so worked up he was bent over in his chair with his head in his lap laughing at me. For the remaining 4 months that I saw him he was a callous, smug, narcissistic monster. I used this time to decide what to do for my radiation treatments to begin in Sept/Oct. When I told him I was leaving he threw me out of the office. A decent human being is my doctor now and life is so much easier. TUCC has a fancy building they are concerned with paying for ... not so much in taking care of you. Go somewhere else!
