Manisha Purohit's Online Review Report Card

I have been a patient here for a very long time. I called to make an appointment for an infection was told I had to wait a week to be seen. Ok whatever, the week passes and I am seen the PA Holly Todd notices I do have an infection and fills a “special” prescription instead of just filling a prescription at my normal pharmacy. Insurance has to get involved and all different things for this “special” prescription. I called the next day asking her to just fill a regular prescription because we are going into a long weekend (labor day) and don’t want to CONTINUE being uncomfortable after I already waited a week to be seen. I’m told they need to put a note in to the dr and she needs to approve it. Later the same day (Friday, September 2) I am told their system has been done and no providers are in the office. Therefore, I now need to go at least another 3 days (labor day is monday and office will be closed), to get my medicine for the infection. This place has seriously gone down hill and they are only after money and not the care or priority of their patients.

Very unprofessional and bad customer service. The front desk called me an hour before the scheduled appointment (the schedule was fixed 3 months prior) and cancelled the appointment and did not care to provide an alternative. I will never see this doctor and would not advise anyone who values their own time and priority.

Dr Purohit was amazing my first visit. She took time and explained some medical terms to me and made sure I understood what they meant. She also made sure to answer the questions I had. She was able to refer me to a general DR and get me an appointment very quickly. I know she has many different patients she visits with every day, but I can tell she cares and truly wants to help. I am a new patient, but my first visit was so good I know I am going to be a patient of hers as long as I need an OB/GYN. Thank you Dr Purohit.

I have been a patient to Dr Purohit for more than 3 years. She is a great physician, very professional and knowledgeable. Due to dr Purohit’s diligence I was able to catch my breast cancer at a very early stage and got it treated. Thank you Dr Purohit was all your help and support during my journey to the treatment. I would highly recommend anyone who is looking for ob-gyn

The front office desk or scheduling team never responds to calls and it’s so frustrating when you want to check some information . Also wasn’t informed earlier on booking child birth and hospital tour earlier and couldn’t find dates.

Manisha Purohit is truly a step ahead of the game. She is knowledgeable and personal. I was feeling “just off” for sometime, and her accurate assessment brought me back to life. I highly recommend her; and cannot thank her enough!

Dr. Purohit is fantastic and her staff is equally fantastic. She actually listened to all my questions and answered with patience. I wouldn’t forget after the delivery she stopped by again to check on me. We spoke for a while and she gave me a lot of valuable information regarding things I can do at home to recover from postpartum. Thanks to the good doctor!!

I have visited this place one time this year. I was asked to take diagnostic tests and detailed blood work. I didn't like the way doctor communicated with me.She is the most rude ,impatient of the doctors I have seen in this field. New and regular patients both must be regarded for who they are and must be guided in right direction with good consultation. I didn't feel comfortable from the moment she started speaking to me.She would start creating doubts in your mind about your own wellness even if you have a healthy lifestyle. I don't think she is worth your time and energy. She would just some techniques that worked for her to a patient blindly by ignoring the patient's needs, abilities, allergies,medications etc. I made a call to switch to a different OBGYN and I believe I am in good hands now. I would like to caution people before they decide to go to her. Please do not get carried away by the positive reviews here or references. There are so many other good OBGYNs ,please avoid visiting Dr Manisha.Another odd thing is the doctor considers herself the most healthiest and quoted her age.One more thing ,the front desk here has 2 staff that I have met and one of is the worst.

I've been seeing this doctor for a few months now while trying to conceive, and she has been very nice. However, you can expect to wait 30 minutes to an hour after your appointment is supposed to start on every visit, no matter what time of the day it is. I did some testing on my egg levels and such and they were supposed to get me results back in 3 weeks, so I scheduled another appointment. Long story short they didn't have my results so I had to re-test. I am promised results in 2 days. 2 days later I call and no results. 3 more weeks go by and I call them and one of the front desk girls tells my FSH (egg) level. Just a number, no other context. I ask if that's normal, low, or what? She says she'll ask the doctor and call me back. 2 more weeks go by and I call again. They have no record of me asking for this information, she suggests I schedule another appointment and I refuse. Just a guess but I will probably never hear from them again. I will not be returning.

I was very fortunate to have Dr. Purohit for my first pregnancy. She explain everything to both me and my husband. She is very knowledgeable but will listen and hear your concerns. I had her for all my prenatal appointments, labor and delivery. I'm so glad I had her because she helped reassure everything I was feeling, read through my birthing plan, took it into consideration and still ensured the safety of both mom & baby. I understand why she's highly sought after!
