I am so happy with my two eye surgeries, a vitrectomy in both eyes. Dr. De Souza was recommended by another doctor and I feel so fortunate to have met both of them. Dr. De Souza is excellent. An extremely positive experience.

I got a swelling in my retina after five surgeries in my right eye trying to correct various problems. He has been trying to reduce my macular edema for two years now, patiently finding alternative treatments when none works. He arranged for me to get help with the cost of my current eye injections, which have the swelling way down. He never hurts me. I have confidence he knows what he is doing and is up on every latest treatment in the journals for my condition, and he is personable.
