List of Zaki Lababidi's Reviews
Dr. Lababidi is very caring, kind, and intelligent!
I tried making an appointment but it was impossible. The wait was 10 minutes and even after waiting all that time, I got a recording saying, "due to call volume, and the demand on healthcare, please leave your phone number and we will get back to you." That recording came when waiting almost 10 minutes.
- Fifteen minute waits to have calls answered (not a one time event) - No easy way to leave a message - No response to emails, web forms or voice mails - When voice mails are acknowledged it can be 96 hours for a response - the message says 48, but even that is excessive - Office staff will only take or cancel appointments; any questions about the appointment, including telemedicine options, are ignored - If you complain you are told that it 'is your choice' to change doctors Switched to Lababidi after meeting him in the hospital. He's no-nonsense with an entourage (think Dr House from TV). Professional and confidence building, but it can be off-putting for some seeking a relationship or the illusion of personal care. But the office staff has only had a few moments of competence over many years. Most of the time it is a struggle if you need anything post in office appointment scheduling. All the issues above are within the past weeks.
Couldn’t get past the person who answered the phone. She said i needed to call my insurance to verify. I told her they were listed on the website but she offered no help. Won’t be seeing this Dr thanks to his receptionist
Dr. Lababidi was very thorough, asking a lot of questions! My first visit and I immediately knew I was in good hands! He is highly knowledgeable as well as compassionate and caring. I truly felt welcomed by his front staff, and was surprised at how easy they made it for me to schedule all my procedures and follow-ups!
I have been to two cardiologists I would ever say this about, but I really like this doctor and his staff. They are all kind, friendly, and helpful. And most tests can be performed there, or the staff helps walk you through those also. I drive an hour past a few I could see just to see to go to this office, no regrets.
The staff was great and I enjoyed going there. Their billing is really not good. Their office says one thing and their billing company just keeps sending notices saying something else. No one to talk to that will address the situation.
I’ve always slightly suspected reviews to be driven primarily by friends, colleagues, family etc. I stumbled across this practice in the same complex as my endocrinologist. I was experiencing an a-fib issues and my primary care doctor suggested I get into a cardiologist right away which surprisingly (not) was not possible same day. Anyway when I called and finally got through to a scheduler and explained my situation she put me on hold went and talked with Dr. Lababidi and came back on the line to tell me he would see me that afternoon. Bottom line, I needed a cardiologist and this doctor made himself available. I was extremely impressed with his knowledge and his teams professionalism. This guy is the real deal.
Fast and very knowledgeable staff.
I have always respected doctor Labadidi. But the staff that works in the office are very irresponsive and take no ownership to their mistakes. I have been going to this doctor for over a year. I think the office and scheduling is very outdated and very inefficient. I requested a renewal of a prescription over 9 days ago. The pharmacy has sent a prescription refills numerous times with fax communication and received 4 confirmations from the doctors office that they received the request. But upon visiting the doctor the employee directly lied stating they never received this. The pharmacy provided proof they did. The comment was that they needed to see me for a renewal. Remind you this is a serious blood thinner to be taken as I had surgery 30 days ago. No one from the doctors office bothered to call a Heart patient to say i would need to come by. After being out of Warfarin for 8 days I took it upon myself to call. Upon reaching the office I was able to set up an appointment. Once I got there I was told I needed to come back in less than two days. I had a work conflict so asked for a Monday appointment. They said no my INR was too low. Would that surprise anyone? No as going with out the medicine would cause my INR to be lower than expected. Of course not. Once i requested an explanation I was told i needed to find a different doctor for questioning their inefficiencies. This is a life threating issue and could have developed blood clots. In fact i have had recent chest pains. Probably related to that. But I'm not a doctor. This office is very irresponsible and took no ownership. The appointment scheduling is horrible as they set up three appointments in error since the first of the year. Items like we would like to schedule your anaplastic. This was two weeks after they performed the surgery. It is unfortunate as the doctor is good and the staff is horrible. Please make sure you get every thing in writing as their records are very poor. Be careful when visiting this office.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
