One never plans a visit to a Radiology Oncologist - but there I was! My surgeon in IL recommended Dr Ambrad (I'm a snowbird in AZ) and I immediately felt I was in good hands. Dr. Ambrad approaches your care with comfort, concern, warmth and confidence. His staff eases your concerns & even fears with a friendly style. ALL questions are answered, all phone calls are responded to in a timely manner and each visit handled with a quiet sense of care.

Never saw him though I called at least 3 times and left messages with Mary. I was told she was the only one who could make appts. She did not call me back. I even left a message for her to just make an apt and I will be there . My dermatologist was very upset . This is not a very good way to start a relationship. She was going to tell Dr Ambrad about it. I am going elsewhere.

I wish to Thank Dr. Ambrad, Dr. Ono, and Dr. Rothman (Surgeon) for their treatment of me for throat cancer around 2008. If one could have a pleasant experience with cancer treatment, 2 surgeries and 37 radiation treatments, these three helped me to endure the pain and issues involved in the treatments for this horrible disease. This man saved my life. His knowledge and expertise, treatment plans and follow ups, not to mention the exceptional bedside manner and genuinely caring about you and they way you are feeling both physically and mentally are the reason I am here today. I was blessed with having this man as my doctor and would and do recommend him to anyone and everyone needing a Radiation Oncologist!

Dr. Ambrad has been a cornerstone for me during my experience with cancer over the last year and one half. His talent and knowlege is exemplery and he has a way of expressing exactly what I have needed to know. My cancer is gone, and I thank Dr. Ambrad for his attention and continuing care. Overall being a patient at Ironwood has been a positive experience for a bad situation. Everyone’s been responsive. Dr. Ambrad and all of the staff are willing to listen and answer our questions.

Dr. Ambrad and his entire support staff at Ironwood Scottsdale are amazing. They are technically exceptional and their bedside manner is second to none. Has horrible as it is to experience cancer, Dr. Ambrad and his staff address not only the medical side of cancer but the anxiety and emotional side of cancer. They are amazing.

Dr Ambrad performed the radiation on my lung cancer & it has been in remission for over 3 years. It was a small # 1 size & it is gone. I am being checked every 6 months.

It has now been 9 years since I was Dr. Ambrad's first or second patient here in Arizona. I am still very much alive and active. Thank you Dr. Ambrad! I still love you. Everyone should be as fortunate as to have you for their oncologist.
