List of Christopher S. Stewart's Reviews
Avoid this practice at all costs. I went in for an x-ray of my foot, walked out with no treatment or boot, and was billed: $145 for the visit $60 for an x-ray $335 for 'a diagnosis' The office staff was extremely rude and unhelpful. Save your money and go to a respectful practice that doesn't charge miscellaneous charges for simple visits.
Scheduling staff are very rude making excuses and no empathy. I was told that medical asst. would call on a Friday for follow up treatment for infection. It is Wednesday now and I have yet to recieve a call. All they could say when I called is they were "busy" and to wait for the call. Unprofessional, uncaring, and definitely rude.
I recently got home from my appointment today and after discussing over dinner with my wife I felt a need to vent. I had prostate surgery December 7th and my scheduled follow up in March was cancelled due to the doctor not being available that day. Hence my make up appointment was set back about 5 more weeks to today April 28th. I patiently waited in an exam room for an hour for a 2-3 minute consult. I had a list of questions in my pocket and never was given an opportunity to reach for them. I have to say I question whether I will return in 3 months as requested. Dr. Stewart is a good surgeon but his patients need more than that, or at least I do. I know I’m upset right now and rightfully so I think. I feel neglected and I waited a long time for this chance to talk.
Scheduled an appointmet, advised of a time constraint I had. They scheduled me a week and ahalf out which I kind of expected. They scheduled me for telehealth which I also kind of expected given COVID etc. The reason of the one star? The day of my appointment, an hour before my appointment I still had not recieved the link for the telehealth meeting. I called the office to check on it and they had cancled my appointment and needed to re-schedule 2 weeks out. No call, no e-mail, nothing. I walked away. Dr Stewart may be an excelent doctor, but the practice / front office is very unprofessional and will waste your time.
I visited Dr. Stewart at the Arrowhead Clinic. I waited 1 hour past my appointment time and when I was finally seen I commented that I thought they had forgotten me. His retort was, well we're busy. I am too. My insurance was billed $331 for the 10 min. or so that I was with him. Consequently, he didn't have a clue. Maybe he's good at prescribing drugs or surgery.
Dr. Steward is exceptional, both in his keeping up with state of the art medical knowledge and his ability to communicate clearly and effectively with patients at all levels. He also takes the time and has the demeanor where are you never feel rushed and have the opportunity to explore all aspects including options in the pros and cons of each. Today’s high volume medical climate, He provides a breath of fresh air for tickly when dealing with important in sensitive issues that will impact your life
Dr. Stewart is wonderful, he's very kind and makes sure that he has done everything possible for you! He did surgery and it was great, very little pain afterward. I was up and around the next day! I would recommend him to everyone!!!
My mother is his patient and repeated attempts to contact him have gone unanswered, from the patient, to the primary care doctor, to the pharmacist, to her new urologist. No one has reached him. And billing, even worse, forcing her to pay before being seen again, when she was CHAMPVA, and refusing to reimburse.
Great doctor but he always runs late. Then when I’m sitting in the patient room I hear him take up my time while he talks with two “Demo dolly” drug reps.
Dr Stewart is a superb doctor. I will continue to sing his praises despite the one small criticism that he’s almost always very late for his appointments.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
