Dr Hume forgets anything said to him and fails to provide follow up care for serious conditions. He is impossible to reach and confrontational when called on his refusal to provide care.

Dr. Hume is a great doctor. I recently started seeing him as a new patient and I am very pleased with the level of service provided by him. The visits don’t seem rushed and he is very thorough. One thing I want to praise him for specifically is the encouragement he gives to his patients. I have a couple of conditions I am trying to manage and he seemed proud when I was making progress with my weight loss. I don’t remember feeling that encouraged with my previous family doctors.

During our visit, Dr. David Hume assured me that he would call me within 48 hours with the results of my daughter's knee X-rays and MRIs. He went out of his way to say that their office is extremely efficient and that he would make sure to call me, as requested, night or day within 48 hours, max, with the results. Five days later, I heard nothing and had to repeatedly call the office to get him on the line. He then asked me if we went for the X-rays and MRIs, as told. Total confusion on his side. After expressing my anger and frustration, he put me on hold and suddenly managed to find the results of both the X-ray and MRI in their office and then attempted to distance himself from taking any responsibility in the mishap and delay in my daughter's subsequent treatment. Aside from that, he was very much an alarmist in his bedside manner, especially in treating a minor who is already frazzled and scared from her sports injury. I don't mind the truth, but before you have any proof of X-ray

Hated to lose him as our doctor. but, with a move to N/E Colorado, we had to leave him. hard to find any one like him. Also, the pharmacy professors worked with my husband and his diabetic problems. thank you, midwestern university. we miss you.

Dr. Hume is a very special Physician: He makes me feel like he is more of a partner by supporting and suggesting pro-active wellness as a foundation plan in addition to treating current issues. He is a good diagnostician; listens and makes the patient feel more like they are chatting with a friend than being scrutinized. He doesn't laugh when you ask about a natural treatment over a drug, but answers you seriously. As a bonus he is just a very nice guy.

I have been seeing Dr Hume for many years. I have changed insurance several times and I always make sure it is a plan he takes. He is kind considerate a good listener and he has never stirred me wrong.I would not change him for the world. He gives you the time you need and does not rush you. I would highly recommend him to anyone of any age or sex . You can not host wrong be with Dr Hume
