Elizabeth Mahour-Moyer's Online Review Report Card

I was referred to Dr. Mahour- Moyer when my gynecologist retired. I was so impressed with the entire staff! They were so courteous and welcoming on my first visit and have continued to be professional and efficient in monitoring my blood work, hormones, and overall care. I am grateful that I found them and would highly recommend their services. Thank you Dr. Mahour-Moyer and staff! You are appreciated!

I agree with the reviewer who said this was the most I'll-run practice.  I had a horrible experience at the Tatum office with this doctor and her staff.  I under went a pelvic ultrasound  that was improperly performed and when I complained to the doctor about how uncomfortable and sketchy it was she dismissed me and shook her head.  I asked who was in charge and she said you want to call Carlos.  Great, a guy who I now brought my concerns to who also acted defensive as I tried to explain this invasive procedure.  He just said he would talk to them. Not only was this my problem with them but I had been in a few weeks prior for a pap and was told it had to be re-done because this doctor did not get enough cells.  She then cancelled the results of my pap saying I was going to be billed twice when they could have easily resolved the double billing but she chose to "get back at me" for my complaints.  Do not even consider this unprofessional practice when there are so many other choices out there.

I arrived ten minutes early for my 11 am appointment and was given paperwork to fill out.  Halfway through the receptionist told me that they would have to reschedule because I was not there at 10:30.  I was confused because my appointment was at 11.  The receptionist said that because I was late they took another patient ahead of me and because of their new computer system they could not double book.  I said that I was not late, it was not a case of double booking, I had a scheduled appointment at 11 and if I had to wait a while that was fine with me.  She told me that their new computer system would not allow double booking and we would have to reschedule.  Again, I pointed out that I did have an appointment for 11 and that at no time did anyone tell me I had to be there at 10:30 to fill out paperwork (which I had completed by 11 am, my scheduled appointment time).  It was like talking to a recording.  I asked if I could reschedule for the next day and was told - after waiting a long while - that their next opening was in two weeks and at another location.  I had already waited two weeks for this appointment so I said that was unacceptable.  By this time it was obvious that for whatever reason they did not want my business, so I told them to forget it.  This was one of the most idiotic, ill-run doctor's offices I have ever encountered.  If you are looking for an OBGYN look elsewhere.  The whole experience struck me as fishy.

I have seen a few Gynecologists in my day, and Dr. Mahour is the best! She has always taken the time to listen to me ramble on, and then given me options and time to weigh those options. She is caring, kind, has a great bedside manner, always smiling and genuinely cares about me, her patient. She has seen me through two surgeries now, both very successful. Erin at the front desk is equally as amazing. She listens, takes the time to figure out what it is that you need and cheerfully does it with a smile. Thank you, ladies. Not sure what I would do without you.

I love Dr. Mahour and entire staff. I have never been kept waiting a long time. She always answers all of my questions and I never feel rushed.  I am grateful I found her office.

I will never go anywhere else.  Everyone here was very nice and comforting.  Usually going to the gynecologist is an uncomfortable/unpleasant experience and they made it a breeze.  Very thankful I found such a great place.

Dr. Mahour was the OBGYN that delivered my baby boy, and I highly recommend her if you are looking to deliver at Shea and want a doctor that is supportive of your wishes. Having a natural birth with a supportive team was very important to me. Dr. Mahour respected our wishes and went above-and-beyond to help me achieve a natural, Unmedicated birth. She also remembered that I wanted to help deliver the baby and I got the chance to pull him out after he was to his shoulders! She also did a nice job with the stitches I needed. It was very easy to schedule with the office and the office staff was always pleasant.
