Dr. Verkhovsky was very knowledgeable and well informed about gastric diseases and the latest treatment options. Dr. Verkhovsky patiently listened closely to my symptoms then shared with me the pertinent medical research behind his diagnosis. He made pointed suggestions that would benefit my symptoms and recited the latest facts and clinical trials pertaining to the medication he recommended to help me improve. I would recommend Dr. Verkhovsky without hesitation and with confidence that any patient he sees will have the same outstanding experience that I have had.

After consulting with a G.I. dr in Sun City for 4 years and with no resolution for my illness, I decided to get a new doctor. At our first visit, he formed an opinion of what my problem was, scheduled 2 tests to confirm and sure enough, found I had achalasia. Together we found a qualified surgeon to do this surgery and after 4-1/2 years my initial problem was solved. During the surgery another problem developed and I had to be put on a nasty drug to allow me to eat the food I always had eaten. Dr V told me of a drug available in Canada that can replace the drug I was taking, and I am now on that medication. He also has an assistant, Joslyn, who manages their patient portal. I have always received feedback and answers to my questions through this portal, usually the same day. I would not hesitate to recommend Dr. Verkhovsky for your gastrology problems.

Dr.V. answered all my questions promptly and in language I could understand. He returned calls about the results of my procedures and did not keep me waiting in the patient area.Dr. V. Is on the "younger" side and seems very knowledgeable in his area. I would recommend him.
