Under Dr. Tesser's care, I have been in remission for almost eighteen years. I take weekly methotrexate shots and a Remicade infusion every six weeks.

I have had RA for 26 years, since I was a teenager. I take my health very seriously. I will not tolerate a doctor that is okay with the status quo. In my quest for the right rheumatologist, I have seen 21 different providers. 21. I have been with Candace Ryan at AZ Arthritis for 11 years and you couldn't pay me to switch at this point. She has never given up on me or my disease. She is a true difference maker. If you are searching for a provider that truly cares, see Candace. Also, this office runs like a machine, I don't have issues with my refills or my authorizations, Stephanie and Dr Sharobem are very helpful and attentive. I have been to many practices in the Valley, and know patients at other locations, and the Glendale location shines in this group. It's worth the drive.

After several months of visits with Dr Rashid at AZ Arthritis and Rheumatology, I can confidently say that the level of care here is phenomenal. Whether it's taking a little bit longer to visit during an appointment, or a follow up phone call from the provider, our care team has been interested in patient as a whole person. Dr Rashid coordinated care with a cardiologist in another practice to make sure his recommended treatment was safe for my mom. He listened and actually heard her concerns, which is so unusual in medical care anymore. They are a very busy practice, and it's hard to reach them by phone. I will tell you, it's worth the effort.

I got a referral to go here over a week ago. I've called to schedule an appointment and the staff from the referral department is pretty rude and condescending. They refuse to schedule an appointment with you till they have all your medical records but fail to notify you if anything is missing. I called my doctor's office to have them fax over the missing document, Waited an hour before calling back to make sure it was received. Once I do call back it takes them 3 business days to process a fax?! They are only open 4 days a week so their processing period takes even longer. Will be getting a referral to go somewhere else.
