Judy Tom's Online Review Report Card

Dr Tom is my wife's OB. At a recent visit post pregnancy, Tom behaved quite hostile towards me, making backhanded remarks of me both with and without me at the appointments. My poor wife wasn't aware of the behavior until I mentioned it to her after one of her appointments I attended. She then saw Tom the next week and realized that she is in fact very rude in conversations I either partake or am mentioned in. A lot of sour looks and shrugs from Tom when any mention of me is made. My wife is now very put-off by it and is seeking a new OB. This isn't what I wanted because I realize how important it is that women have an OB they can trust and be comfortable with. Only thing I can say is she's a great doctor, but to husbands/fathers wanting to be involved in this part of your wife's health, don't expect Tom to take too kindly to you.

Nothing like spending 9 months with your Dr just to have them no show on your delivery day with no notice.

She is the best! She delivered both my children (I am an "elderly" mother, with pregnancy complications through both pregnancies). She helped me navigate both pregnancies so that I always felt I was in best hands. If I had a third she would definitely be my Ob dr. Big Thank you, Dr Tom!

I've been seeing Dr. Judy Tom for a few years now and she is by far one of the best doctors I have even seen. She takes the time to ask how you're doing, how your family is and makes your time there as pleasant as possible. She is well versed and does not beat around the bush--gets right to the point and explains everything to you. I wouldn't want to see anyone else ever. I would highly recommend Desert OB/GYN and Dr. Judy Tom.

This doctor is sneaky and highly unethical. She is so into herself that she'll get angry if you decide to question what she's suggesting. First, she wanted to do a d and c when it was completely unnecessary. She will always suggest surgery even when there's no need for it. I had a migrated iud and although xray and cscan didn't show the iud, she used her influence to convince me to have unnecessary surgery and thete was no iud. It had fallen off which triggered the heavy bleeding i was having.

Dr. Judy Tom is incredible. Absolutely wonderful. I saw her for the first time when I was sixteen years old with some problems - and she was so sweet, comforting, straight-forward and not awkward. She is super charismatic and isn't afraid to say things openly and forward - which I love! Former doctors try and sugar-coat, make things awkward but Dr. Tom makes it straight-forward but with a comforting, nurturing behavior. I can trust her completely and she KNOWS what she is talking about!She is so kind, educated and funny and I have never had a better experience. I've had lots of negative encounters with so-called doctors - but this, this is by far the best, and I am not exaggerating when I say this.

Rude, short, misdiagnosed me with gestational diabetes. Poor care, it was so bad I switched doctors at 32 weeks pregnant! She wanted to do a Csection for no reason and when I expressed that I did not want one her response was you’re very opinionated! Its my body shouldn't I be! By far she was the worst DR I have ever experienced in my life. She treated me like a paycheck and not a patient... Could go on and on but there are only so many characters remaining, don’t waste your time with DR. Tom!

Let me just say this, DON'T use her. Horrible bedside manner. Rushed me out the door. Didn't answer any of my questions, didn't schedule me a follow up appointment after my in office procedure, had my mammogram results and never once referred to them or told me the results while I was at my appointment. You eventually you end up seeing a PA which is even worse and equally if not more rude. The client staff are also unhelpful and rude.

Dr. Tom, is wonderful. I have referred her several times to friends and they love her to. Wonderful bedside manner.and she is very personable makes uncomfortable situations a breeze. By the time you know it your done. I highly recommend her.
