Sahara Behavioral Health's Online Review Report Card

This has been the WORST psychiatry experience that our family has ever had. I have left messages for the office several times over the course of a month through their on-call services (because my daughter was having an urgent situation and I needed to speak with the on call doc) and office voicemail, but no one got back to us until 1day then 3 days later. They've screwed up our third visit and scheduled us when the office closed for lunch but we were unaware until we tried getting ahold of them. The first time I was able to talk to someone in the office I was given an email address to reach out to because they're "so burdened with too many calls that they're phone system is messed up." That worked at first but then our messages weren't given responses. Lastly, I just found out they charge $50 for the first page of FMLA and $10 each additional page! Both my husband and I need forms filled out for our jobs. To me, that's criminal! The forms are filled out. The Doctor simply needs to review, agree (or not) and sign. This place has been a nightmare.

I had insurance that paid for 8 visits and no copay.I had my first visit and they took my insurance and no copay.I had my 2nd tele visit scheduled and they said I would have to pay a copay.O called my insurance and they said their Therapist was not autborized.The wanted copay or cancel my visits.They said that I was covered.Not my fault.

good luck ever getting ahold of the office staff over the phone. It’s a complete headache. And the only reason I’ll be looking elsewhere for services.Not to mention I went there for a appointment and the front desk people were having a meeting and NOT checking patients in. Took them 30min to start helping all the patients in the lobby waiting to see their therapists.. and this TOOK AWAY 30min it’s with my therapist.

Just saw Lizy Windsor. She addressed every questioned we answered on new pt forms. Explained everything and really listened to what my daughter had to say. my daughter struggles with autism and she spoke to her with so much respect and patience. She really liked Lizy. staff was kind and efficient . We were acknowledged the moment we walked in . working in medical i can appreciate that fully

Where do I start...this practice is not organized.  They don't have enough therapists to manage the practice.  I'm still waiting.  There's no follow up to care.  The office staff cancels appointments when they can not reach you for telemedicine copay's.  I DO NOT recommend this practice for behavior health concerns.  They give you MORE Anxiety.  It's a shame.  We need caring behavioral health practices those treating and managing the practice.

If I could leave 0 stars I would! After speaking to Bradly, which I was under his care after my original provider left. Because of COVID I had never seen or telehealth a visit with him.He decided without really knowing me to switched my ADD meds, which I have had ADD since the 3rd grade. I’m 49! I wanted to wean off a medication, was dealing with anxiety, from a torn esophagus.Didn’t want to hear anything! . My insurance didn’t cover new med & it was 350. I don’t have that kind of money. Pleaded with him the next month told him I can’t afford new med that I am terrified to swallow from torn esophagus horrible anxiety. He ignored me & said “ if I call the office for any reason, I will terminate your care at this facility!” I have many, many other reasons why I left. After speaking with your Mental Health provider you should not be in tears & riddled with anxiety. Used to have exemplary care at this location. Trust me! Do not go to this place! Or Bradly!! Thank God I found a real Dr not a PA! You have been warned!!!

Having allot of problems with enabling telehealth visit on my phone. Kathy has been amazing, she`s very helpful and understanding. Thank you Kathy

I have been a patient of Chris Hanson’s for a few years he is the best mental health professional I have had. He always tries to help me out even when I sometimes struggle. He truly cares about his patients is professional knowledgeable and a good person! He goes out of his way to help. His office staff Kathy who does appts is also very kind and patient understanding and helpful. They put up with me despite my ups and downs and I am grateful. Thanks again Sahara behavioral health!

Great staff pleasant environment, I highly recommend this place to any in need of great care

I sent my uncle here for recovery and the staff were absolutely amazinggg. Definitely would recommend to others. If need I will be using this hospital again.
