I had a lower bleph/eyelid bag removal surgery in October 2021, and am absolutely thrilled with the results. Dr. Chen was amazing: very thorough, kind, and incredibly skilled. I was also very happy with the surgical clinic at Desert Ridge in Phoenix, and the anesthesiologist was excellent. I highly recommend Dr. Chen.

I always want to believe the best about a doctor. Patients have high expectations and doctors have a great investment as a high level specialist. I had a pretty good result with a little complication with Dr Chen but if you question his opinions he tries to debase you and just up and walks out. He's lacking in understanding, compassion and communication skills. None of his office staff are pleasant or make you feel valued as a patient. The attitude that prevails is I just work here like they're doing you a favor. It left me with the feeling did I do something wrong as a patient when I didn't.

I was referred to Dr Chen by my longtime medical optometrist as well as a friend who had seen him for medical reasons plastic surgery. I wanted my lower and upper eyes fixed for cosmetic reasons. After only one month I am very pleased with my results. I’m 64 years old. The outpatient clinic as well as Dr Chens office staff was fantastic. I felt comfortable during the procedure. No traumatic feelings at all. The picture is no makeup and after 1 month. I had an awful fall 2 weeks after surgery, so any bruising is from that as I fell on my eye socket.

Do NOT let anyone touch your eyelids but Dr Chen. Whether cosmetic or medically necessary. He was referred by my trusted dermatologist. Dr. Chen performed the biopsy on my eyelid next to my eye. After the dermatologist performed MOHS of the eyelid, Dr. Chen reconstructed. Even my ophthalmologist was amazed after it had fully healed.

Dr Chen performed blepharoplasty (drooping eyelids) on both of my eyelids last June and I cannot express how happy I am with the outcome. Better than I could have imagined. The procedure was such a breeze. Did it while awake and no problems. Best decision ever! He is very kind and professional! Strongly recommend!

Extremely rude staff. No concern for the patient or their individual needs. I went to see Dr.Chen for my daughter eye upper lid bump and surgery scheduled on Aug 31st and as i was not feeling well last weekend and requested to postpone schedule. I have called to request to waive off the fee and the staff behavior is rude and no concern about patients views and they are not in a position to listen.

Horrible bedside manner!!! Did not listen to what I had to say at all. Very frustrating and disappointing. I won't see Dr.Chen again.
