Dr. Santa Maria delivered my second child at Arrowhead in 2020 after prenatal care with her through MomDoc. With my first child I tore so badly that my doctor at that time stitched me up and warned me that it would never look the same. She was right. However, Dr. Santa Maria worked my pelvic region so well while I was in labor with her fist that I didn't have a single rip. I didn't even need sitz baths after this one. She did great and I'm currently seeing her now for my third child. I will also say that my second pregnancy was high risk and very scary for me, and she took such great care of me and always listened to my questions and concerns with care. Toward the end of my pregnancy she was especially compassionate with the things I was suffering and did everything she could do as a doctor to help me. She's a really good one.

Dr. Sta Maria has been my doctor for the oast couple of months, after switching from a dofferent MomDoc location. I have respect for her as a doctor. She communicates with me very well, is friendly but does not sugar coat things. She takes my health seriously and I appreciate that she takes the time to explain my health and my baby's health at every visit. Not all doctors do. I am not a big fan of MomDoc in general and would love to see her venture off from them, but in the meantime, I enjoy the Deer Valley location and staff. Thank you.

I have be going to Dr. Thelma Sta. Maria for about 6yrs now she is awesome always on top of things l rate her a 5 stars and have recommended her to all my family but today l was given the sad news that she was no longer with Palm Valley women's care l did ask where she went but of course didn't get the response l wanted . We would like to continue seeing Dr. Sta Maria but don't have her new location if anyone knows please share

RN noticed that my daughter was turned and was not facing the right way. When my Dr. (Stamaria) entered the room and the RN explained this to her, she did not listen to her and said I would 'push' out my baby like a baseball. after trying for an hour, and my daugher not moving, Dr. Stamaria told me I was not pushing correctly. I asked for an episotomy because I KNEW she was stuck. Dr. did not listen to me. Baby got stuck, and was losing oxygen. I almost lost my daughter.

Dr Santa Maria has delivered my first two children and will deliver my third. She listens to my concerns and is the perfect balance of kindness, compassion, and professionalism. I would highly recommend her for any ob/gyn needs. Her office staff is amazing and super friendly! Any time I have needed anything they get back to me usually within the day.

I think she's a good doctor but she needs to smile more and listen more to her patients . She didn't make me feel all that welcome made me feel rushed and like a number.

I love love love Dr. Sta. Maria. She delivered my first child, and she'll deliver my second baby. She very clear when explaining things. She listens to my concerns, and shes very open. I highly recommend her!!
