List of Varuzhan Movsesyan's Reviews
Both Dana Rea the PA and Dr Movsesyan are outstanding!
My husband Yury had first visit in doc's office on June 14,2023. Doctor Movsesyan did not work these days and his nurse practitioner Dana Rae was attending him. His complain was about his voice disappearing from time to time and he needed referral to pulmonologist. Dana gave him referral to his hands and assured that copy of this referral will be send ASAP. When my husband came out of the office, he saw that his diagnosis was sleep apnea, instead of chronic hoarseness. Also and telephone number, and fax number of pulmonologist were wrong. He returned to front desk, because Dana had already other patient. Yury asked to change these 3 items! on one referral. They changed. Next day he called dr. Movsesyan's office to find out if referral was sent, they did, but to wrong fax number. Also my husband's cell phone number was incorrect, they corrected. He asked now 2nd time front desk to fix the fax number on the referral and resend it. Front desk (man) promised to resend it, but it will take min 3 business days. My husband actually made on his own appointment to pulmonologist for June 29, 2023. They said ok to bring paper referral with him, but better thru fax. Yury waited a week then called dr. Movsesyan's office again, but find out that referral wasn't send. This man promised again (that was 3rd time!) to send it, this time he apologized, check the fax number and assured my husband that this time pulmonologist will get it! Guess what? Today, June 29 my husband came to pulmonologist and they did not accept him, BECAUSE THEY DID NOT RECEIVE REFFERAL! And Yury even not in the system. Please dr Movsesyan, check your assistants cognitive abilities! And of course he has to find another PCP doctor
Horrendous referral process. STAT order takes weeks to schedule because of the non existing communications between departments that are delegated to 3rd parties. "Value Based" franchise that is devoted of any responsibility. Stay away. My next complaint will be to CMS.
My last visit with Dr Movsesyon (Dr Mo) was for my yearly health check-up. I felt very comfortable with dr Mo. He did not rush me through the check-up. He listened to my my concerns and offered good advice for my overall health needs. Dr Mo has become so popular it is almost impossible to get in to see him, as he is booked out a few weeks in advance. That says a lot for his reputation in such a short time with the practice.
If I could give them ZERO STARS, I would. One of the worst medical professionals ever! Their medical licenses should be taken away! I had scheduled an appointment with them for my mother. Dr Varuzhan Movsesyan claimed that he spoke two other languages, so I was hoping that my mother will be able to speak to him without my help or help an interpreter. I decided to take her there for the first visit to get familiar with this clinic. She had cough for a week, so we wanted to check her and make sure that everything was ok with her lungs. We had to wait a few weeks to see Dr. Movsesyan, so I got an earlier appointment with his NP, Dana Rae. Two days before the visit, I called the clinic, explained the situation to make sure that everything was fine with the appointment, all rules are followed. I was assured that everything was fine. When I scheduled the appointment online, I marked that my mother had some cough. No one indicated to me that there could be any problem with that. I had taken, an unpaid half of the day off from my work to take my mother there. We came about 20 minutes before our appointment time and had spent there, in their lobby, face-to-face with their receptionist over one hour, filling out papers, answering questions… Then the receptionist, goes to the back office to speak to Dana, spends there quite a long time and comes back to tell us that they will not see us, because my mother had the cough... She explained to us that Covid is going around and they have the right to refuse seeing patients. She said that we could go home, schedule a video visit with them and if they will decide that she would like to see us personally, we could come back. FYI, I was completely healthy and my mother did not have any symptoms of Covid. She was coughing, but that could not be even considered as possible Covid! I have medical degree myself and I know what I am talking about! I told that receptionist that she had been talking to me for 40 min face-to-face and she did not see that I did not have any symptoms of even a slight cold?! And so, did not have my mother! I had asked the girl a few questions, to which she could not even give me any answers! The office is not very big. When the receptionist went to the back office to speak to Dana, we could hear some conversation. I am sure that when I had a rather quite loud conversation with the receptionist, both Dana Rae and Varuzhan Movsesyan could hear me being very upset! What surprised me that, both Dana Rae and Varuzhan Movsesyan, never stepped out to the lobby to speak to us or to see that we did not have any Covid! My question is what are both of them doing there, treating people or just making a lot of money?! It was obvious for me that they do not care about their patients! They probably have no idea about the Hippocratic Oath that requires all medical professionals to uphold a number of professional ethical standards. I guess they do not realize that their profession requires treating people, and not just sending bills to our insurance companies! This was my experience with Dana Rae, NP, at the office of Dr. Varuzhan Movsesyan at Village Medical in Walgreens at 5421 W Thunderbird Rd #110, Glendale, AZ 85306. Avoid that place, if you do not want to waste your time and be very disappointed!
Dr. Mo is the best PCP I've ever had. He's nice and insightful.
He’s the best doctor
BEST primary care physician in whole Arizona. Cares about his patients sooo much. My whole family and friends families only see Dr. Mo. Very nice and modern office, and most importantly provides best care possible. Thank you Dr Mo for being the BEST!
He is supper nice and always there
Dr. Movsesyan has been my primary care doctor since 2009. I was diagnosed with stage 4 ovarian cancer and admitted to Arrowhead Hospital. Because of Dr. Mo and the Grace of God, I am alive today! He is knowledgeable, professional and his bedside manner is unmatched. I highly recommend him for any and all ailments and health issues.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
