WOMEN SHOULD AVOID THIS PRACTICE & DR! I arrived 20 min early as requested and was taken to a room at the appointment time. After waiting 45 min I opened the door to ask someone why. The dr was standing behind a staff member at a nearby counter. I shrugged my shoulders with my hands at shoulder height. (as you would to show confusion). The dr said I"ll be there in a few minutes. I replied that I had already been waiting for 45 minutes. He repeated that he would be there in a few minutes. When he graced me with his presence 10 minutes later he gave no reason nor apology for the excessive wait. He asked why I was there, listened, then discounted my knowledge of the problem and how it affects other nearby organs. (as explained to me by a previous urologist) I felt as if I was being treated in the discriminatory "ignorant woman" manner that some male dr's use as if they are "god-like and all knowing". He then ordered a previously done test, (for a problem that in time gets worse, not better) + 2 others. All this after it took staff a month to get my records & only after I made multiple calls back and forth between offices. I was offended and angry at this shabby treatment and inconsiderate waste of my time. After a few days of thought I cancelled all future appointments. I had been sent by my primary dr to this office because my previous dr had left the practice where I had been seen last. I then searched and found that dr. at another office and arranged an appointment there. I can go anywhere in town to waste time and be insulted and talked down to for free. I see no reason to pay this practice another penny for the same treatment. I will not return there for any reason and would not trust this dr any further than I could throw him.

Worst experience with doctor by far if I could give negative stars I would. Took my mother to see Dr Thaly after her discharge from hospital she had nephrostomy tubes inserted.. First sat in room waiting more than 1/2 hour past our appointment time. When came in he was in a big hurry, when I tried to ask questions about my mother's condition he won't let me finish, he cut me off repetitively and when I asked about what was causing her inabilty to pass urine he kept saying he didn't know and that it could be anything. He didn't even look at her recent related medical records. When I asked if it could be a UTI which my mother has instead of responding he just said the UTI was the least of his concerns. Then he ordered CT and x-rays and to come back in 2 weeks was out the door without allowing us ask any questions. No bedside manner or concern for paients at all. For be searching for a real doctor asap.

Tried calling for 2 days to schedule a follow-up appt. Also went on-line to attempt. No response. Thankfully this is a not an immediate need. Think twice before selecting Dr. Thaly. It may be his staff is at fault but I'm confident he is aware.

Does a great job. Answers all questions and knows what to do. Highly recommend

Dr Thaly and his staff took fantastic care of me. They saw me quickly and took time to explain everything I had questions about. I would highly recommend.

Dr Thaly saved my husband's life. He found and treated my husband's urethral stricture that had been misdiagnosed bu other doctors. He also discovered and removed the mass in my husband's left kidney, which turned out to be cancer. 12 years later and my husband is cancer free.

Didnt even want to bother looking at the cat scan cd I brought. Didn’t seem like he wanted to help me at all.

A week ago I came in to the hospital with very bad pain on the left side. Dr. Thaly advises my husband and I that he was putting a stent in due to a kidney stone and infection. Dr. Thaly advises us that he would take it out in a week and remove the stone. I went home after spending one night in the Hospital. I was miserable a lot of pain and at one point I had a fever of 101. Dr. Thaly has me come to his office which was a waste of a visit. He advises me he could t do anything for me. Because I didn’t have insurance he advises the nurse to throw my urine out nothing he could do for me. My husband and I decided to come back to the hospital because I was miserable. Just now Dr Thalys PA came into my room and advised me they were not doing anything for me. The PA advised me they would call me and set up a time to take stent out I said it’s already set and he advised me that was all I needed to know and left my room with me in tears. I would not recommend these docs.

It was very clear during my appointment Dr. Thaly wouldn't or couldn't look at my cat scan done a few days prior. Instead he ordered another cat scan and for me to come back in a week. Such a waste of my time! I have never been more frustrated and upset with a doctor. I wouldn't recommend him to anyone!
