Shary Borhan's Online Review Report Card

Dr. Borhan is lazy, uncaring, unorganized and explains nothing. She is the worst medical provider I have had in my life.

My first few visits with her were fine. However after my last appointment with her I will not be returning. She is knoweledgable in her field but her bedside manner leaves much to be desired. During my 36 week appointment she informed me that she would be doing a cervical check on me. She did not ask to preform the check and would not give a reason as to why she was going to do the check. Then she was so incredibily rough with the exam I asked her to remove her hand and she didn't listen. She just repeatedly said "sorry I'm almost done". Due to that exam I had extremely painful cramping for two days afterwards. And this is not my first baby, cervical exams aren't comfortable but they should never be as painful as she made it. She also has tried at my last few appointments to push a c-section on me when I have had a perfectly normal pregnancy, because my baby hadn't turned yet. I was also rushed through the appointment and none of my questions were answered. Not to mention she always has med students with her that she constantly talks to about me while I am sitting in the room. It is incredibly unproffesional and I wouldn't recommend anyone to see her.

Dr. Shary Borhan is amazing!! She has taken care of my every need. I am shocked to see all the negative reviews. She is fast paced but she does takes the time to get to know the patient in the beginning and is kind and caring. My first appointment with her we spent about 30 minutes in her office just talking and her getting to know me before just going in my lady parts. She made me feel comfortable and worthy of myself. I look forward to any and all appointments with her. I literally will go to her forever lol

First visit wasn't bad, but after a second time with her, she came in and I left almost in tears and shock just simply because I wanted to choose condoms as a way to be safe after birth. (I've seen too many friends have periods for months or were extremely depressed after being on them.) She made fun of me while smirking to her assistant, and she told me that I obviously didn't care enough. I didn't even have a chance to explain my choice. I was shocked because my first visit with her went so well, when she came alone. I was often passed around from doctor to doctor at Adelante, but she seemed so nice that I wanted to have her deliver my baby, which thankfully didn't happen because you're lucky if you get to choose your doctor. She was also angry with me because I did not realize I had a yeast infection. (Never had one before, thought I just had another UTI for the 20th time, which I also came up positive for.) She stormed out, and then sent the prescription 2 weeks later when my UTI had gotten so bad I was crying. Please believe that I would NEVER leave a review like this. I'm not someone who expects anything, and I never have been. I believe perhaps she may just be harsh to those who are timid like myself. I'm also quite young, so I'm fairly used to being put down like I'm uneducated and got pregnant from sleeping around, even though I just married my high school sweetheart after graduating. So with this in mind, I can usually take a lot of cold looks, and I brush it off. This was truly an experience I don't want to have again with future pregnancies. I'm beyond thankful it was not her that delivered my beautiful boy, and I hate to say that. But she needs to know that a little kindness goes a long ways, and you need to choose to be kind every day, not just when you want to be. You never know what state someone could be in.

I travel over an hour to see Dr. Borhan she has help me tremendously and she listens to her patients. I will go to her forever.

I really wanted my sister to use her for her first baby she is so good with everything i had her as my ob for all my 3my kids even when I would have a hard time she would help me understand and I hope to have her with any assistance in the future she is 10 rateing she makes the whole place light up and feel like they know what there doing

I found Dr. Borhan a lazy, incompetent, and careless physician ever. I write this review for the new patients who are thinking to choose her as their OB/GYN. She is not patient. She does not give you any information, and you do not have any idea how you and your baby are doing at any given time. She will not help you when emergencies occur. She is an excellent doctor for women who are going to have simple and easy pregnancy. If you think, you may have complication later during your pregnancy or had complications before, DO NOT choose her as your doctor since she is not going to do anything for you at all. I wrote this to help pregnant women to not put themselves in danger. Choose your doctor wisely and read the review of other patients any time you choose a doctor. You get a lot of information by doing that. Good luck

I was so scared having my first baby and she made me feel comfortable and I had to have a c-section I was terrified but she reassured me that I was going to be ok and everything came out perfect 👶 now having my son I missed my appointments and I'm 38w now I will see her when I'm 39w she still willing to see me after I messed up by not going she really is the most wonderful doctor more of a Angel under that Dr. Coat 🙌😇

This is the first doctor to spend so much time with me. Addressed my every concern. She is kind. I will refer my friends and daughters. She had me go to her office and sit there and address my concerns instead of being undressed in the exam room. That meant a lot to me. What doctor does that? She talked to me about weight loss and overall health. She came up with exercise plan for me. No other doctor cared. I will go to her until she is in practice.
