I'm a long time sufferer of kidney stones and UTI's. Been through several urologists in the past. Dr. Chehval took over my case and formulated a solid 3 part plan for my care. I have to say he is very professional, very knowledgeable and will explain everything in detail to you. His staff has always been super friendly to me. I'm extremely grateful for the care I received from Dr. Chehval and his staff and I would highly recommend them.

Not the best. Joined a long list of medical professionals who refused to listen when I told them I suspected multiple ureteral kidney stones. Ended up having them in both ureters. Went to ER for severe pain (stones) after seeing Dr Chehval. The ER staff had to call for information. Someone in their staff lied to the ER staff regarding lab results and medications that their office prescribed. Office staff is not the friendliest and aren't the most competent. I've seen the front desk receptionist yell at a nurse in front of a room full of patients. Chehval's MA had never ordered a 24-hour urine collection and she didn't know how to do it. I found that odd, seeing as how it's a urology office. When all was said and done, I never received an apology when I was vindicated in having stones that he missed. Overall, just wasn't happy with the experience.

Horrible doctor. Lied, did not give any treatment and then sent urine out for tests that were not warranted. His staff is horribly rude, do not go here.

I will said I was lucky to meet him and still working with him a was close to loose one of my kidneys do to past bad doctors but definitely I will recommend Dr. Chehval I’m Happy the I’m still working with him to get better.

Highly recommend Dr Chehval. He patiently answered all of our questions with confidence and reassurance.Does not hurry into his next appointment until we have asked everything we need to know regarding a difficult medical situation. We felt very comfortable and well informed when we left our appointment and he seemed very empathetic towards our situation. Much appreciated.

Dr. Chehval has been with me every step of the way through...diagnosis of 5 large kidney stones, open surgery, post care, and now looking for the answer as to "why" so many formed. He is patient, kind, thorough, and I'm blessed to have him as my doctor.

He may or may not be a great doctor I will never be able to find out, because two times I have been sent to him and this will be the second time I will deny service from him because his office manager is rude and lacks sympathy...Even my ER nurse from Banner Estrella who spoke with her agreed.
