District Medical Group's Online Review Report Card

There are so many different issues with this office do not even waste your time. A month ago, I called this office to schedule an appointment to have my birth control implant in my arm removed and replaced. Today I called to confirm my appointment since they didn't send any kind of follow up to remind me of the appointment. I was also calling to confirm if they had the implant available for the procedure when I was informed that the provider would not even be able to do the procedure, because I am a new patient and they have to do a consult appointment first. Not sure why that's necessary considering I am coming in for a very straightforward procedure. On top of this, the next available appointment they had to actually do the procedure was, you guessed it, a month away. Seems like this office just wants to waste your money on multiple co-pays and waste your time. I called my local Planned Parenthood and they were able to schedule me an appointment for the next day to remove and replace my implant. Needless to say this establishment does not actually have patient health in mind just dollar signs.

JUST PLAN TERRIBLE. What kind of health care facility can't even cure you of a yest infection but charge me over $400 for the visit and $40 prescription and still not cured. Arizona needs real doctors. Smh sad😔

What’s the point in making an appointment. You’ll be waiting hours to get in after your scheduled time.

The staff at this location is outstanding as is dr Encinas. They're very responsive to requests and faxing referrals. I highly recommend using this facility!!

After waiting almost an hour after check in provider by the name of Maria walks in stating she will not sign anything having to do with my work leave on the first visit. I sent over documentation from 3 other providers I am currently seeing she refused to even look at it. Offered to give me a physical without even knowing what was wrong with me in the first place. Please get better people to represent your company.

Very annoyed with this clinic ! I have never been a patient there and they have been calling me multiple times in the last month asking for a patient even after I tell them to please remove my number and I don't know that patient. The representative gets very rude and says she can't remove the number!!

I can't say much about the look of the office, it doesn't looks like much or a very great place to go. However, I saw Dr. Armstrong and he is so far the only doctor I have seen that actually cares and listens to me. Every other doctor I have seen (which has been a lot since I moved to Scottsdale and am no longer in that area) and they have all been disappointing to say the least. I will continue going here even though it is quite far from me.

I have exactly the same experiences as others have put the lowest star. Just received a pricey bill after going to what i thought was a "physical and preventative care". using language or avoid to inform essential information to dodge the bullets and resulted in patients need to take huge chuck of their time to figure it out without considering that patients are consumers who have job to do. Getting off the phone with the bill department, I find out that the moment, everyone is kicking the ball off their courts. Transparency and clearance is largely absence in here and gave me a big huge surprising bill which is more than one month rent. I would not be returning to a medical office that doesn't have their patients best interest in mind as a patient and consumer's perspective.

After reading all the reviews I was apprehensive about going to my appointment. I got into my appointment on time (7:30 a.m.) My doctor, Dr. Kuipers was thorough and had a wonderful beside manner. However, I did have to go back another time and ended up seeing Maria Blackwell. She was quite the opposite. The staff is friendly. I love my doctor. So I definitely, be going back to see Dr. Kuipers.
