Lorne Taylor's Online Review Report Card

I was referred from my PCP & Went to see Dr. Lorne Taylor regarding PCOS and was told to lose weight and start taking Metformin and Spironolactone. He didn’t ask me many questions regarding anything besides my weight, didn’t tell me dosages of what he was starting me on and when leaving the room, left the door open, went to his office and raised his voice and said, “you’re done” No paperwork, no labs ordered and no plan of action. He said, what is your pcp not doing regarding your weight? Very disappointing from a patient who has been waiting for this appointment and has dealt with PCOS for over 20 years just to be told that losing weight is the answer. Bedside manner is terrible and I left emotional and brushed off.

I was Dr Taylor's last patient for the day. He was in a rush to get home and because it the front desk staff awhile to check me in, he was rather impatient, shall we say. I am a 34 yr old woman with complex health issues aka mental and physical disabilities; on top of which, I am a survivor of being horrifically sexually assaulted. I made all of this known to staff. Still, Dr Taylor treated me with a rushed indifference to if I was physically/mentally okay. Without telling me what was going to happen, Dr Taylor caused me immense pain during a displaced IUD. The pain was overwhelming to tears, and I asked if I was supposed to be in this much pain as I began to cry. His response was that "it's out now, you're fine," which he repeatedly several times in a rushed, irritated manner, which made me cry harder. He left the room and then the office before finishing my exam because he "just couldn't wait any longer" - that is, he didn't wait until I recovered from his treatment

Doctor Taylor is the absolute best! Been going to him for the past 3 years and drive all the way to Kingman to continue seeing him even after moving to Utah! Great doctor.

Was referred to Dr Taylor and had surgery, he was so calm and considerate, made me very comfortable about the surgery. He is very caring . Great experience with Krmc.

Was referred to him from my local RN to have a large cyst removed from my ovary. He got me in for surgery the next day to get it removed. I arrived a little early for the surgery but was taken back shortly after I got there. All the Nurses were also funny, nice, and good at what they do. They made sure I knew exactly what was going to happen and really made my first time ever having surgery way easier then I imagined it to be. I've never even had an IV or stiches so you can image I was a little scared. Everything went absolutely wonderful start to finish. Can talk enough good about Dr. Taylor and his staff.

My experience with Dr. Taylor was very favorable, he seemed genuinely concerned about my condition and his staff worked tirelessly to get my surgery pre-qualified through my insurance company. Dr. Taylor is very down to earth and explains things in a way a non-doctor can understand, he has a sharp sense of humor and had me and my husband laughing and I did not feel good, my husband really liked him and he is no doctor person :)

I found Dr. Taylor to be very concerned, understanding, and he always explained things in a way that I could understand. I underwent major surgery and he and his staff were always concerned and helpful even when I needed a work-in appointment. He's a pretty down to earth guy with a sharp sense of humor, he had me laughing even though I felt terrible. My husband liked him and he is not a doctor person :) I would highly recommend Dr. Taylor.
