List of Abc Children's Eye Specialists's Reviews
This office had a distinct bad smell. Like perfume mixed with body odor. Most of the staff seemed indifferent to kids. The Dr and the staff were bothered that my 2 kids were being kids. My childs first eye exam and she was crying cause they were putting eye drops and shining lights in her eyes. The drops were done to her two different times. And the second time a different staff member kept "checking her watch" as to symbolize we were taking too long. She's 4. She's preschool age. A children's eye clinic with very cold, condescending staff. They had no toys, color pages, books nothing in the waiting room but a 32 inch or so TV playing movies. This was my first and last time coming here.
Absolutely loved that they were so patient with my daughter who is on the spectrum for autism. Very well educated working with kids! Thank you
Fast service, and friendly staff. No complaints. They have multiple locations, but seems only in Phoenix.
If there were an option to give no stars I would do that! This place is absolutely terrible. Let me start by saying if you have a co pay or need to pay out of pocket ALWAYS ask for a receipt and guard it with your life. I’ve gotten numerous calls about and unpaid bill which I have paid. When I was there a lady was coming to complain about double payment. But on top of that, the staff is extremely rude and unwelcoming. I was greeted with “Hi, name?” They over book and the waiting area is filled and on occasion there is no where to sit. Not one Dr or nurse or staff was enthusiastic about being around children but more irritated and don’t know how to handle children who are scared of Drs. Do your research and do not go to this office. There is nothing about this place that gives you peace of mind that your child is in good hands or that the staff care about your child. I’m still waiting on my follow up appointment to be scheduled, a staff member was supposed to reach out within 48 with the specialist available schedule, it’s been 3 months. I can not stress enough how terrible this office is. Do yourself the biggest favor and go anywhere else. I promise you will have a way better experience. This location is terrible.
you guys need to stop overbooking. our appt is at 3 pm and we didn’t get seen til half an hr later then we have to wait another 20 mins to be seen by the dr.
I made an appointment here because I wanted a place that could evaluate my four year old who has autism’s eye sight. When I was making the appointment, I specifically asked if they would be able to figure out his prescription without him participating because he is significantly speech delayed. They said yes. When I got into the room the nurse informed me that they were going to dilate his eyes which I was not happy about as my son is extremely scared of being at doctors. They tried to have me hold him and then resorted to a mattress on the floor where the nurse was trying to pin him down at any cost. He was very upset and had red marks on his neck and face from where she was trying to hold him down. I told them I didn’t feel comfortable continuing and they refused to let him see the doctor without the dilation. I was frustrated because 1) they never told me on the phone about the dilation requirement or I wouldn’t have bothered, and 2) they didn’t even have a machine to tell if he needs glasses they were going to rely on him speaking! This place was completely barbaric, stay far away!!!!!
Great people , best doctors
HORRIBLE doesn't even begin to describe this place!! My son (4yrs old and hates doctors due to having 7 surgeries since birth) was scheduled at 1:30 they explained that the appointment could take up to 2 hours. We arrived at 1:20 to check in. The girls at the front desk were so cold, no smile, no welcome, not even a hello! At 2pm we were taken into a room where they asked a few questions and dilated his eyes. We were taken back to the waiting room at 210 and told it would take 20min for his eyes to fully dilate. At 3pm 50min later, we were finally called back where they explained that the first girl didn't properly dilate his eyes and it would have to be redone. At 320 the Doctor finally came in (only 1 working at this location) spent about 12min examing his eyes and sent us back out to get discharge papers and schedule a follow up. After standing there for 10min while the desk girl completely ignored me and called multiple people up while I'm still standing in front of her. I finally grabbed my son and left. As someone who has worked in healthcare for over 12 years, I can tell you that this place has an absolutely unacceptable level of patient care!! They are short providers and their patients are suffering immensely for it. Spent a total of 2hrs 20mins in this office with maybe 20-30mins of that actually being with someone and the other 2hours just spent trying to keep my kid calm in a packed waiting room!! If you can go anywhere else, I would highly recommend doing so!!
Employees here don’t make you feel very welcomed. Other than that the appointment was quick and easy.
Very kind and patient with babies

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
