List of Ameesh Garg's Reviews
First time visiting this clinic. When I first got there the staff made me feel so at ease, because I was very nervous. They are so friendly, courteous, and most of all very professional and knowledgeable. The nurse was very professional and friendly. What can I say, Dr. Garg was so understanding, patience, and he explained everything so I could understand. I am so happy that my doctor referred me to this office. Words can not explain how I actually felt. One happy patient!!
Great care. Attentive to needs
Pam the Doctor's assistant was incredibly rude, over talking me and even getting to the point of yelling at me. Someone called twice and I was hung up on twice. After spending 2 weeks in the hospital this isn't how I expected to be treated by medical "professional s." Pam asked me about my discharge orders, I attempted several times to answer, however, she wouldn't be quite long enough for me to answer. She then proceeds mumbling about how none of the doctors are available for weeks. To which my response was if that's the case I'll look elsewhere as my follow up has to be no more than 4 weeks. Pam becomes very aggressive saying, "you didn't let me tell you what I was going to do," with such a horrible attitude. She should be fired and much worse. I've never been treated the way by someone in the medical field in my life. I will be posting this on all platforms associated with this office and reporting this incident to the BBB. Based in these facts find another Kidney Specialist.
Dr. Garg is a fine doctor I have complete confidence in him
During a hospital stay, lab work showed I was suffering from extremely low saltlevels in my blood. Dr. Garg was calling the hospital every four hours for several days, regulating my IV which saved my life. Two years later, during another hospital stay, the hospitalists did not mention a more serious problem I am facing, but Dr. Garg made a special trip to explain it to me before I was discharged! The most thorough, caring doctor I've encountered in my 99 years of life. And he DID NOT prescribe a bunch of pills.
Dr Garg is a very compassionate doctor,he is intelligent and very thorough with his work, his staff is very courteous.Overall I had a great experience and would recommend him to everyone.
I called to schedule appointment and verify insurance coverage. The girl who I spoke with (Tony), took my info and the earliest appointment available was a month out. As I needed a Dr asap, I took the appointment. I had scheduled the day off of work for this appointment, on a Monday at 1pm. I received a curtesy reminder the Friday before. Monday (appt day) 10:30am I get a voicemail asking me to call them. I do, and am informed that Dr Garg cannot see me as he DOES NOT accept my insurance after all. I inform the girl (same girl) that this information was given a month before and we had gone over the insurance criteria, that I recieved a reminder on Friday.....and now 2 hours before I leave (having taken the day off) am informed to not come in. Her response..."yeah, I know but there isn't anything I can do about it". Basically I found this office unprofessional, incompetent, and irresponsible of their actions. I was put out a great deal in my time, planning & prep for appointment and now will wait another month at least for a Dr. Oh...and I have Type I diabetes and was in critical need of a Dr appt.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
