Unfortunately, our family did not get the same impression of Dr. Bhatra as the other commenters have. While a family member was inpatient, she did a consultation at the bed side and was found to be very robotic, talking above using medical jargon that wasn't understood well and confusing, she was hurried and did not take the time that a newly diagnosed cancer patient deserves. I'm sorry to say, we did not have the experience desired are working with a new oncologist as a result.

I have been under Batra's care for the last two years. I was diagnosed with colon cancer in the spring of 2019 and Dr. Batra was wonderful in attending my needs during six months of chemotherapy and all of my follow up care. I found her to be compassionate, kind, and thorough in addressing my needs. She was very easy for me to understand and there was no issue with language barriers as she answered all my questions. She made a positive difference in a difficult time in my life. She will always be remembered by me as a very special person and an excellent physician. Susan Clark, RN, BSN. My husband and I had our consult with Dr. Baktra this past week. Dr. Baktra has a great bedside manner and really took her time with us. I had a lot of questions and she answered each one with expertise and patience. Our journey has been long and Dr. Baktra has been like a breath of fresh air. We are excited to work with her!
