Genuine care from a physician is rare.
Genuine care from a physician is rare.
5/16/2020 - We LOVE him as well as his P.A. Darlene! We will never change Doctors. He/they spend(s) time with you & he/they genuinely CARE about you! and they are very thorough. Of course that translates in to longer wait time in/at the office, but, ... it's easy to understand why. If you need to be in-&-out quickly, do not even bother coming here. BUT, if you want THE BEST CARE - then I can't recommend anyone BUT - Dr. Labban & P.A. Darlene at Southwest Medical Ctr. (on Baseline, E of Lindsay in Mesa)
I have been long time patient with Dr Labban he is kind and funny. He spends time with you and makes sure you understand everything. He has a great staff now a couple of staff members has returned and a couple are new but all are very nice and make you feel at home. I have everything I need before I leave office. I love that i can get xrays there or labs drawn and dont have to go to more than one office for that.
I started seeing Dr. Labban at the suggestion of a friend, who was his patient. I liked him a lot, right away. He is kind, funny, and spends time with his patients. He answers questions, and makes sure the patient understands what he has said to them about their care. Unfortunately, that wonderful attribute, is also a curse. He spends so much time with each patient, other people waiting to see him, are often waiting for a long time. If you do decide to make an appointment, just schedule it for the first thing in the morning. He is a wonderful, caring doctor, and i recommend him highly. I would still be going to him, but he doesn't take my insurance :(
Worst office I’ve ever been to in my entire life. First you wait 2-3 hours before you even get called back then wait anoutjer 1-2 hours before you get seen and then another 30min waiting just for your stupid script. I had to take an entires day of work off just to get seen by these clowns!!! Oh and they forgot to mention over the phone while scheduling an appointment that they dropped me. AGAIN waisted and took time off work just to get sent home after waiting another 2 hours. I am an single parent who care and nurture 4 children who depend on my work for income to feed my kids. If Dr labban cared enough about his patients he would get him more considerable staff.
I have no complaints about the treatments, just about the ridiculous wait times. I sat in the waiting room for a full hour. Now I’ve seen a nurse and a med student and am waiting on the doctor. It’s been another hour. I was here at 8:55 for a 9:00 appointment and it is currently 10:57. It’s very disrespectful of my time. This is common for other appointments I’ve had with them as well.
I have been a patient of Dr Labbans for years he is a great doctor and really takes time with you and looks to help you with your health not just write a script or send you somewhere else. He has a great new staff that is very friendly and helpful
I have always had the best care from Dr Labban he is a doctor who takes his time with you. Most pcp are 15 mins total from check in to out they spend 5 minutes with you not with this office and they have a great new staff very helpful and make you feel like family like your health matters. I have been a patient since 2010 I will never change doctors.
He has a great new staff and I love how he takes the time to go over everything with you and you dont have to leave office for lab draw of xray.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
