I have been under the care of Dr. Polowy twice in my life. He is thoughtful, compassionate, and very personable. A highly skilled Dr. Couldn't recommend him more

If you go to this doctor, expect lengthy wait times. If you have a 9:00 am appointment, you may be seen sometime around 1 pm or later. Once in the exam room, don't be surprised if he is texting someone else on his phone while you are trying to speak with him about your cancer/cancer treatment. If you look in any way put out, expect to be lectured about how much worse off other people are than you. Also, once you have spoken with him, don't be surprised if you feel like your questions were half answered in the 15 minutes or less he spent with you after the multi-hour wait. Nothing you say will end up in your visit notes via CareSpace "patient has no new complaints" will show up--unless you had a husband with you to complain about something, and then it will probably end up in the notes. Calling the after-hours is so bad I don't even bother & speak with my insurance telemed offering instead. I can't wait to be shut of treatment & this practice!!!!

I don’t know why I had the luck to stumble onto dr. Polowy when I got diagnosed with breast cancer last year. But I am forever thankful it happened. Ok, you have to wait sometimes a little longer, but I rather have good care than being in and out fast. The staff is great, friendly, helpful, professional and make a bad situation as positive as possible. I always know now, what to be thankful for on thanksgiving. Dr. Polowy saved my life. As a S4 cancer patient with limited options I found Dr. Polowy and together with him and his staff and his overall caring of my issues he didn’t disregard my condition and looked for ways to better serve me in my cancer journey. He gave me his home number and I was able to call him anytime I felt like it. His bedside manner is second to none and he’s a straight shooter when it comes to hard issues. He has been my cancer doctor since 2011 and I credit him and his tenacity to make me better as the reason I’m still here today thank you Dr. Polowy you are a lifesaver.

I thank God every day for Dr. Polowy!! He is the most attentive doctor I have ever had. He is compassionate and truly cares about each and every one of his patients. He spends as much time with you as you need. He explains everything in detail so that you know exactly what the next steps will be. He gave me the best treatment for my situation. He made me feel like I was his only patient and that he truly cares about what happens to me. He's sincere, professional and at the top of his game. He saved my life!!

Dr. Polowy was my dads oncologist for his 2 & 1/2 yrs fighting cancer. He was amazing Dr. the entire time and we looked forward to every visit. He is compassionate, caring and kind. I would and do recommend him to everyone. Thank you for everything!

My son is working out of state. He was taken from the Urgent Care straight to Banner Desert Medical, My son called me and I flew from Texas to Arizona that morning. Dr. Polowy seen my son for PE/DVT. Dr. Polowy is very compassionate, knowledgeable, and I knew my son was in great hands. I highly recommend Dr. Polowy to anyone looking for a Hematologist or a Specialist in his field. Dr. Polowy rounded on me in the hospital with a new diagnosis. He pulled a chair up next to my bed and sat next with me for greater than 20 minutes.He talked about what I wanted to accomplish, what my life looked like, he asked about my family and he offered suggestions ideas and his input about treatment. not at one point during his visit did I feel like a patient he was checking off of a list, I felt like a person, somebody he cared about and wanted to see get better.

Treated my husband for several years. He spends as much time with each patient as they need. Even after my husband passed, Dr Polowy kept in touch. He is absolutely wonderful
