Absolutely one of the most skilled and professional medical doctors I have ever worked with in the over 40 years since my Systemic Lupus diagnosis. And, on top of that, he is also a caring and compassionate human being!!! Thank you so very much, Dr. Griego!!!

Dr. Griego and his staff were wonderful... Ladies were very friendly with checking in. All of his assistants were very professional and caring.

I would highly recommend Dr. Robert Griego to anyone needing a dermatological specialist. I went to Dr. Griego because I was diagnosed with melanoma on the left side of my face about half way up the jaw line. I was impressed by how well the front offices are run and soon found that the whole facility is a run like a fine tuned machine. All of the employees were extremely competent and respectful explaining who they were and what they were going to do. Dr. Griego does an excellent job of explaining everything he is doing and what he is going to do. He is extremely careful to make sure that the area he is working on is completely deadened so you do not feel pain. Although he is very busy and has to move quickly from room to room to work on patients, he is very attentive, focused and calm taking his time to do a great job on you when he is with you. He is amazingly skilled with MOHS surgery and putting you back together. Best decision ever to travel over 100 miles to go to him.

Be prepared to pay up front for the entire process, even if you have insurance! You are assumed to be guilty of being a free-loader in the eyes of the office accounting staff. I was a "referral" and not once was my "medical condition" ever mentioned, only the Benjamins. I took my business elsewhere.

Dr Griego was fine but MOHS surgery is torture. I had a basal cell on the right side of my nose and it took 4 cuttings to get it and each time the needles in my nose to numb the cutting were HORRIBLE! Now I have a second basal cell on my nose. I asked the staff if Dr. Griego could be swayed to take one big swipe and get it in the first cutting. I'm old, I don't care if there is a scar. She said no. I'm going to try radiation this time. 95% vs 98% clear rate. That will have to do.

Dr. Griego and his staff are of the highest caliber. I had a procedure done and was in and out in about 1 hour. Dr. Griego himself called me that evening to make sure I was doing OK. All my questions and concerns were answered and wound care was fully explained. Highly recommended.

I sincerely recommend Dr Griego and Desert Cliffs Surgery Center for anyone seeking state-of-the-art treatment for skin cancer, especially on the face, head, or neck. Dr Griego performed Mohs surgery on a melanoma on my face following an unsuccessful Wide Local Excision by another surgeon. Dr Griego’s approach was efficient and precise thanks to his extensive Mohs training and application of the latest cancer cell detection techniques. Additionally, the entire staff was both polite and professional at all times. At one point, while I was in the prep room waiting to go into surgery, three individual team members passed by and each one paused to ask if I was ok or if I needed anything, even though they were not directly assigned to me. To top it off, Dr Griego personally called me the evening following my procedure to check on my status. If your physician, dermatologist, or surgeon recommends the old-fashioned Wide Excision method, ask questions. I wish I had and would have discovered Dr Griego and the appropriateness of Mohs surgery for melanoma before my first unsuccessful surgery. Unfortunately, it seems that healthcare providers that do not recommend Mohs surgery, even for melanoma, have not stayed informed of the latest clinical evidence in the field or, worse, are prioritizing their own business interests ahead of the interests of their patients.

The staff this amazing. They run the show! They treat you like family. Thank you for your outstanding care. I wish all of my doctors offices had medical assistance like yours.

Dr Robert Griego is extremely good at what he does. I had a complicated multi-stage moh's surgery and felt confident start to finish that I was in extremely proficient hands. The end result was fantastic, and there was never a doubt. His staff is extraordinary as well. Dr Griego is one of the best professionals I've encountered in 64 years and would not hesitate recommend him to anyone. Dan Lehman
