From the very first visit, Dr. Hobbs treated me like family. He is a great Doctor and a better person. His staff is awesome too!!

I had retinal reattachment surgery and Dr. Hobbs and staff were very professional and made me feel very comfortable. Surgery was a success. I highly recommend.

Nerf Dart to the eye helped me have the best office and Doctor experience ever! Dr Hobbs and all his staff are amazing! I was referred to them after being in extreme pain and even with their busy schedule, they got me in the same day! Then, with I'm sure a full schedule, fit me in for many other follow up appointments. His attention to detail and sincere empathy towards me and my injury to this day confuses me. I just have never had a Doctor that attentive and caring. Im kind of sad I don't get to see them all very much anymore. ;) I have unfortunately seen many doctors in my lifetime and have rarely been impressed. Sometimes the office staff is ok and the Dr not so great. Other times the doc is amazing and the staff is horrible...you get the scenarios. Not here!!! Both are amazing! They go above and beyond to make sure you are taken care of. If you go see some other Retina Specialist or Eye Doctor in Mesa you are making a mistake. You need to go here...take the advice from this accident prone expert with Doctors. :) Expert who can still see out of both eyes! Thank you everyone at the office and Doctor Hobbs!

Professional doctor with great skills. Explains everything in lay terms. Shows concerns for patient's challenges. I've seen five opthalmologists in four years for WMD injections. By far the best: Dr. Hobbs. Highly recommend.

I went to Dr. Hobbs with severe eye pain following cataract surgery by another ophthalmologist, and he quickly diagnosed the problem and provided a successful resolution. He deserves my HIGHEST recommendation for the care I received.

I have some screw up eyes with retinitis pigmentosa and my vision was suddenly going from bad to worse and thought maybe I was just losing my vision for good. Went to another doc for Yag surgery with no results at all. Went to Dr. Hobbs and he thought he could help but first wanted me to go to another Dr in Glendale who is an expert in RP just to be sure he was recommending the correct course of action. Dr. Hobbs was confident but still cautious when predicting the outcome. He was very honest and couldn't say for sure what the outcome would be. I have an unusual condition so when I had cataract surgery years prior they said the same. However, after the surgery I could see great again like I could right after my cataracts surgery years ago, total success. Not just a little better, a huge improvement!!! I went to a lot of eye docs in the area over the years & Dr Hobbs and his staff are by far the best I have visited. My vision was degrading for a while and then really bad for over a year. Then it was restored by Dr Hobbs, you have not idea how great that is to have your vision restored!!! Can't thank you and your staff enough!

Dr. Hobbs is a fantastic physician. He repaired a horseshoe tear in the retina of my left eye. I trust him implicitly. Dr. Hobbs is immensely personable, knowledgeable and a gifted surgeon. I also love Britney and Ashley.

I have been seeing (thanks to him!) Doctor Hobbs for about five years and I could not envision seeing another doctor for my Retinopathy. All puns aside, I first saw Dr. Hobbs in the west valley and followed him to another location at BarnetteDelaney when they moved him and finally to his practice on the far east side, appx 45 miles from my home, no problem . I'm not letting just anybody poke me in the eye!. I could go on and on but I'll close by saying, I have recommended him to several people, but they are daunted by the drive from my area, their loss unfortunately, for myself I'll go out of my way for the best care.
