My wife passed away at 9:28 am on Saturday March 19, 2022. I received via email the final invoice from HomeWell Care Services of East Valley (AZ) Mesa, AZ on the same day at 1:31pm. Four hours later? Who does that? The caregivers worked in my home from December 6, 2021 until she passed on March 19. They send me their final statement on a weekend, instead of having the compassion to wait until the work week. I was also told by Michael Roley the owner that his caregivers were hospice trained. When my wife came home to die from the hospice center, I asked the caregiver if she knew how to set up the portable oxygen concentrator, she said no. I hooked it up. I than asked her if she could put the nebulizer treatment equipment together and administer a treatment to my wife. She hooked it up incorrectly and the hospice nurse arrived several hours later and had to reconfigure the kit the proper way. And to top it off, the caregiver came into our bedroom where my wife was as I sat holding her hand, and proceeded to put away laundry and humming a tune. Hospice trained???? Seriously???? I am still fuming.

The team at the HomeWell Care Services of East Valley we incredibly responsive. From the day we interviewed the Operations Director, Mike to the very next day when service was initiated, things just happened with an immediacy for my mother. Having these extra hands was just what I needed to continue to aid my failing mother. Kind yet voices with confidence and authority provided her direction and medication which eased that burden from me. They worked independently or assisted me with caring for Mom in her final weeks. I simply couldn't have done it alone. As I am able to recommend their services I will in a heartbeat!
