He was my doctor when I was a young girl. He made my trips to the doctors officer very enjoyable and helped form my love of pediatrics. Because of Dr. Underwood I am planning to become a pediatrician.

Dr. Underwood, is a loving, caring, trustworthy, and respectful doctor. He cares for his patients like they are his own children and you leave an appointment feeling knowledgeable and in-powered. Dr. Underwood thank you for being one of the rare breed of old school new school doctors with a heart. You are truly a blessing!

Best GI doctor in the state! My experience was completely painless... even in the waiting room! I have read the comments on this page and to be frank, I am dumbfounded as to how anyone could have an experience that is anything but wonderful!

All my questions were answered without making me fee rushed or stupid. I also felt that he really cared about my sons health. His staff was also nice and laid back.

Had appointment with Dr. Underwood to evaluate conditions of my liver. Spent a few minutes with him and he set up an biopsy. Never saw him after procedure. Met with nurse practitioner for appointment after that. For one appointment. I sure have spent a lot of money because of his credentials! I am still feeling very ill but his NURSE says that he can't help me because I don't have end stage liver disease. Even though symptomatic. He would not even recommend a general practitioner.

I went to see Dr. Underwood because he went to school with my child, and I trust him. He finished at the top of his med school class and trained at Johns Hopkins. I had a perfectly painless (both physically and psychologically) process with my colonoscopy. Staff was very polite and professional. Kudos and thanks!!!

The best trained gastroenterologist in the state...I did extensive research. Could not be happier with bedside manner or knowledge base. He found a cancer in my mother after other doctors could not. All my family and friends will be advised to see Dr. Underwood.
