The early morning procedure has been problematic 2 months afterward with periodic bleeding, urge incontenance, and worse pee frequency than before the procedure! Dr. Worisheck visited me after coming out of anestesia, said all went well, I was still foggy, assumed we would speak later. I was catherized, bleeding and sore which was more than I expected after a minimally invasive, non surgical procedure. After very long and uncomfortable 24 hours I expected the Dr would visit with me to explain what to expect in the coming days. But he never came, although he was in the hospital all day until 2:00 when he called the nurse (who was filling in from the heart hosiptal and said she knew nothing about aquablattion) to release me. I'm an 80 year old guy after an anestesia procedure, catherized, bleeding with a 100 questions! The guy never shows! Was never available to speak with in the weeks that followed, though I called several times. I'm seeking another Dr. DR. WORISHECK IS TO BE AVOIDED
Wonderful Doctor and staff! Was hospitalized in 2009 for pancreatitis for quite a while. Dr. W helped with my care. In 2020 my kidney started acting up. He looked up my records from2009 so he could make sure I got complete care. Not many doctors would go out of their way looking up a record so old but he did. He and his staff are wonderful. From the front desk to the surgery scheduler (Kami). Will go nowhere else. Keep up the great work doc!!
I was just cleared yesterday of bladder cancer ( I still have follow up treatments). I started going to Dr. Worischeck over a year ago with bladder problems that turned out to be cancer . I had prostate cancer 21 years ago , so was very familiar with cancer and wanted the best Doctor available. During this treatment period Dr. Worischeck was kind , listened to me , and always made me feel important . He is never in a hurry and takes time to explain everything carefully. My daughter Julia is a Dr. in Houston and he took the time to talk with her and explain everything about my procedures. His office staff has all been very nice and friendly. His Medical assistant, Ashley always took time during the treatments to make me feel comfortable and explained what the treatments were doing. She made you feel like she was a friend. Would I recommend Dr. Worischeck ? Yes I would and I am so fortunate that my past retired Urologist Dr. Larry Bans referred me to Dr. Worischeck.
We have no idea how we would rate Dr. Worischeck because there has been no response from his office. They have not answered the phone nor have they responded to voicemails or a web-based appointment request. We find this terribly unprofessional. We will search for another urologist.
Very helpful and comfortable. The staff was a very positive and attentive group.
HORRIBLE! Warning, warning! In October 2018 Dr. Worischeck performed a lithotripsy on my large kidney stone. It didn't work! At my expense, Dr. Worischeck performed a second lithotripsy in December 2018. Hours after surgery I was rushed to the hospital by ambulance. Due to Dr. Worischeck's work, I had internal bleeding. I had a hole in my kidney! I was in the hospital for four days and required TWO BLOOD TRANSFUSIONS! I am a very healthy and active individual, but I have never been so sick in my life. Weeks later I had a follow up x-ray and the another office visit. I was told by Dr. Worischeck's staff there would be no charge for the after surgery visit. Deceived again, I was charged for the visit. Alarmingly, the radiologist's report stated, "no change" to my kidney stone! To sum it up, Dr. Worischeck performed two lithotripsy surgeries on me. As a result, I'm out thousands and thousands of dollars, I've had a hospital visit which included two blood transfusions and I still have kidney stones.
Dr. Worischeck is a man of his craft. I came in nervous and terrified as heck for a vasectomy. Thinking of the bad story my brother told me about his appt at a different doctors appt I was expecting the same. Dr. Worischeck came in made sure I was numb and was in and out in about 12 minutes. He made sure i was numbed and didnt feel a thing. After my appt I'm having a little sensitivity but havent taken any pain meds for it thats how good he was. I would highly recommend him to all my friends and anybody who's looking for a good urologist!
Dr Warischeck found cancer in my wife and myself. Two totally different cancers with no generally given symptoms. Dr Warischeck saved our lives.
I had seen a different urologist who wasn’t very helpful so I was recommended here. I dropped off my paperwork and the receptionist wrote my number down on a sticky note and told me I would get a call back for an appointment. After not hearing anything for 2 weeks, I called and left a message asking to schedule an appointment. After another week and a half, I still had not received a call back so I called again and left a message. Finally I called one more time and a real person picked up, only to tell me I’d get a call back. So after 3.5 weeks total, I get a call back and the woman tells me that they are going to turn me away because of their shortage of urologist. I’ve had this UTI for over 3.5 weeks and I’m being turned away for help, when I am a paying health care patient. If I could rate them 0 star, I would. If I had known they were going to turn me away for help, I would’ve seen someone else earlier and gotten the proper help I need. I am in massive amounts of pain and this is the 5-6th uti I’ve gotten since December but I guess that isnt enough of a reason to be seen.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
