Rushes you in and out. If you ask a question because you missed something, he yells I JUST TOLD YOU ABOUT THAT. He has no bedside manner whatsoever. Yells at a patient who is still in a little state of twilight from sleepy drugs because he asked a question. Walked away from patient after angiogram when there was a question and never returned. NEVER RETURNED! NO bedside manner. We heard I JUST TOLD YOU ABOUT THAT numerous times from this Dr. He is good at what he does, but at the rate of that kind of treatment..pick another Dr. He is horrible. He wants patients who don't ask questions or raise concerns. He wants little sheep to follow him and do what he says without finding out why. He needs bedside manner school!

I came to the office on a pre-op visit with Dr. Berkotitz and he was amazing and explained everything to me so I understood what it was all about. I will keep him in my contacts and will be back as needed. Love the office and so easy to get checked in and the ladies were the greatest too and made everything so easy and easy to understand.

Dr. Berkowitz has been my cardiologist since 2007 and I would not go to anyone else. In 2007 he found I had three blocked arteries and had I not seen him when I did I may have had a heart attack. Instead I had a triple bypass. He literally saved my life. I see him every 6 months and always enjoy my visits. He Listens to me and explains everything so I can understand. He's kind and understanding and the kind of doctor that will work with you.

Dr. Marc Berkowitz saved my wife's life. He is so good at what he does, and knows his field better that most. When my wife had her heart attacks in 2014, and had to take a second trip to the cath lab in the same night, myself and my family were so emotionally destroyed. When Marc came out to talk to me though, he was having nothing to do with the crying. He said "Stop it, there will be no crying. She's alive and well." He had such a command to his delivery that I just knew she was in good hands. His assessment of what happened and what had to be done was so informed. I was so impressed with his confidence at that time, and treatments with my wife years after the event proved my instincts were correct. This man is blessed with a gift. And if someone can be saved, he can do it. He saved my wife's life, and he saved mine too, because I could not live a minute without her. Thank you Dr. Berkowitz for what you have given back to us!

I find Dr Berkowitz to be mercurial. In the hospital, he playfully stepped on the scale, out of my sight, to change my weight. But at the next appointment, he was not interactive and I couldn't wring any information from him, to the point that his scheduler suggested I go 20 miles further away to see his PA, Alicia, because she had heard that complaint before. Alicia does, indeed, have a warm personality, spends enough time, and dispenses information freely. I did go to see him again when I accidentally found the online results of a test at the lab. It indicated 15 out-of-range results, and I had heard nothing from his office. I was also concerned about extreme swelling and muscle pain (possibly from statins). He sounded very defensive, though I was not accusing him of anything (merely concerned at that point) and said, in a raised voice, that it was not his responsibility to inform me of those tests, as some pertained to a UTI and he was my HEART DOCTOR. Hard to believe I have had a bladder infection for over a month, and it's not his responsibility to inform me of the results from a test he ordered?? That at least deserves an alert: Please see your GP. As I tried to discuss this with him, he cut me off or dismissed my comments with an aggressive tone. I believe he's a vein specialist too, but said my swelling had nothing to do with my heart, so it had nothing to do with him. Ditto muscle pain. No suggestions, no referral to a different specialist. And then he finished up with some mansplaining (condescending voice, telling you what you already know, looking at his computer, not at you), but he was talking to air because I was already walking out the door. I will miss Alicia.

I went there for shortness of breath and chest pains. Didn't see Dr. Berkowitz but instead a nurse practitioner, who decided to try turning up my pacemaker. In spite of already having two heart attacks, when I called back after the weekend complaining of more pain, I believe die to what they decided to do with pacemaker. Instead of trying to get me an appt. They wanted to keep saying I should go to emergency room. I wasn't in pain right then, I just wanted them to fix what they messed up. I do find it very hard to believe Dr. Berkowitz is even aware of this non caring incompetence that I perceive of his staff

Unfortunately there is no rating for bedside manner, which would be a great big fat zero. I have had difficulty breathing upon exertion and chest pain and was hospitalized 3 times in 7 weeks and basically told that since heart and lung tests came back normal that there was nothing wrong with me. Then I found out somewhere along the way that I had developed heart failure. When were you going to notice that, doc? When I was on my death bed?

Dr. Berkowitz is the Very Best. I have needed to visit several of Dr. Berkowitz's offices, depending on my issues & times I needed to see him. I am so grateful he is my cardiologist. I am Always secure that he is there. Each, & every one of his staff (no matter which office I need to go too) are extra caring & helpful. He has taken care of me for over 13 years. I am a older lady that had heart issues that he addressed and fixed. He made me feel like he could help me return to my old self. I was very worried about what was going on. He told me we can fix this and he did fixed me in 2 weeks.¿
