Monique Chang's Online Review Report Card

It's taken me years to process my frustration and anger with Chang and Ironwood. I wouldn't even consider or call Chang a doctor. Chang and her staff always misdiagnosed and misrepresented everything pertaining to my wife's treatment and care. We were always engaged and researched everything in addition to asking all the appropriate questions. We finally sought a second opinion which proved how poorly Chang and Ironwood do everything. My wife would have passed away if she had continued with Chang and Ironwood. My wife is now doing well as opposed to experiencing the worst-case scenario with Chang and her antiquated approach and methods. If you truly want effective cutting-edge oncology care and a real fighting chance go to any other doctor and practice but do not go here. Even worse Chang seems more worried and concerned about growing her practice and reach than correctly and effectively treating patients. I was also a patient and so I'm speaking first-person. Chang couldn't even correctly diagnose genetic hematology screens. So Chang and Ironwood - if you think I can't prove my claims don't try me.

I had a stroke few years ago. Dr. Chang was a the doctor at hospital wanted me to see. I really like her alot. She works hard to find the problem. I highly recommend her to anyone.

Dr. CHANG is a wonderful doctor. She truly cares about her patients. She saved my life, after I was diagnosed with breast cancer! THANK YOU!!

Been seeing for 2 years, zero help. Like Jekall & Hyde. Gives you a run around. Does Ct scans & then makes it a epic hassle to see the image. she does'nt carry though with refferals. She makes you wait a very long time & gives attatude. Terrible skills seems frazzled just not a good Dr. Go else where for your life, or your loved ones.

She spent a large part of the appointment detailing her knowledge but my questions were almost always answered as I don't know.

I found myself in the hospital in 2010. I was so lucky Dr. Chang was on-call. She is the sweetest doctor I have ever met. I was terrified but she was very calming and explained things to me. She has a wonderful bedside manner to her. Very pleasant and knowledgeable. I would recommend her and this clinic to anyone.

My Husband has been diagnosed with stage 4 cancer - it I in his bones- and she will not prescribe proper meds to get him out of pain.

Very knowledgeable and took the time to answer questions and explain diagnoses.

This woman should not be practicing medicine. She does not care about her patients, and her listening skills are nonexistent My mothers experience was one a cow might have when being herded to slaughter. From being given the wrong chemo drugs,to being put on medication that was disadvantageous to her lymphedema. Please do not use this doctor or this office.

Dr Chang is attentive, listens well and will always answer your questions. She is very busy but will not make you feel like she is too busy to listen to you. I came in with at least Stage 3b breast cancer and because of her recommendation, I did chemo first, followed by surgery, then radiation. The surgeon who performed my bilateral mastectomy stated that Dr Chang had made the right call to do chemo before surgery in my case. I am grateful that Dr Chang convinced the surgeon that chemo prior to surgery was the best option in my situation.
