I have struggled with weight loss for years. I heard about Dr. Debarros from a family member. I made an appointment and started my journey. After difficulties with my insurance and feeling hopeless once more, I decided I needed to take control and pay for the surgery out of pocket. After six months I went back and had the surgery. Debarros and his staff have been very encouraging and supportive throughout then entire process. I am almost 4 weeks post-op from having the gastric sleeve (VSG) and feeling great. If you are struggling with weight loss take a chance and reach out to Dr. Debarros and his team to discuss your options and what will work best for you. The team is very supportive, encouraging and understanding not to mention sensitiveto your needs and situation. I wish you all the very best on your journey.
Ive been seeing Dr.DeBarros for about 8 months now ive lost 140 pounds before surgery and just had my surgery 2 days ago from the bottom of my heart this man saved my life hes a great surgeon and really cares about his patient's. Definitely made me feel welcomed and comfortable with the decision to get the sleeve. Im telling you in my opinion best doctor in arizona
Dr. DeBarros is an excellent surgeon and really wants to help people achieve life-long goals and health. (Reason for 4 stars) However, the hours are misleading. If you want to come here, prepare yourself to miss a lot of work because they refuse to schedule anything past 9:30 in the morning and then it will take a full hour to be seen. It's worth it in the long run but very inconvenient and off-putting.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
