I had a heart cad and he stated I didn’t need any medical attention this time. Nice to know he is not pushing you to have unnecessary medical treatment if it isn’t necessary. His straight forward approach is not common in the Doctors today.
Dr. Yelamanchili saved my life! I had a heart attack and I was immediately transferred to Banner Heart Hospital to the Cath Lab. Dr. Yelamanchili and his team were waiting for me. Dr. Yelamanchili inserted a stent in one of my coronary arteries. This event occurred 6 yrs ago. I have seen him regularly in his office twice a year for follow-up. I am very pleased with the service I receive by the office staff. My family and I are very grateful for Dr. Yelamanchili. He is the best Doctor that has ever treated me in my 70+ years.
Be incredibly wary of information this doctor reports to your insurance company. Will not correct records with inappropriate or inaccurate information. May cost you your life insurance. EDIT: The response below is nonsense. I talked directly with Dr. Yelamanchili, and his various records and administrative people over the course of a month, and was told by him that diseases are pre-diagnosed so that the insurance company will approve testing and treatments that may or may not be necessary. Yelamanchili knows I requested erroneous medication records and medical diagnoses based on nothing to be corrected and he flatly refused to do so. I would never trust this doctor to treat me for anything. He has permanently damaged my medical records with my insurance company, and caused me to not be able to receive a timely and necessary treatment for severe spinal stenosis and this is unforgivable.
I’ve had experience with many cardiovascular doctors including the Mayo Clinic’s and I would say this doctor is Excellent and found him to be be. Very caring and kind and very concerned about the patients I’ve taken to see him. I would recommend 100%.
I HAVE HAD HIM FOR A LONG TIME, HE HAS MOVED TO TRI-CITY CARDIOLOGY ON FIESTA BLVD. SOMEBODY CALL ME I N EED PRESCRIPTIOS AND I HAVE NO WAY OF REACHING HIM. CATHERINE A. MORSE 602-550-3061 -OR- 480-855-4006
I brought in my dad this morning for an 11/1115 appointment with Dr. Yelamanchili as a new patient for a follow up from a hospitalization (Banner Baywood). We arrived and there were 4 staff sitting at your front desk. An individual with 2 braids sat on the right side, an individual with dirty type blonde/grayish hair with glasses in the front quite visible to the front lobby, another individual with long hair appears she is pregnant and another individual on the one side with her hair with 1 braid as well but not visible to the lobby like the 2 individuals. I walked up after having my dad sit while I check him in and the young lady with the dirty blonde/gray hair was on the phone so i waited patiently while she tended to her phone call. She did not look up to greet or even acknowledge that I was standing there. I stood there for a good 3 - 4 minutes before she got off the phone and then continues to NOT make any eye contact to acknowledge that i was standing there and finally as she looked up managed to say "yes", I proceeded to let her know that my dad has any appointment and she asks for my dad's insurance and id. I hand her the information she then says the copay which i paid. She then gave me some paperwork to fill out and handed me my dad's cards and says "she'll be right you". In reading your office's Values: Communication, Respect and Dignity, Team work, cooperation, and integrity, I feel your front office staff lacked communication and Respect and Dignity as well as integrity! That is the most unprofessional customer service receptionist staff I have ever been to and I have worked in the medical field for 21 years and now am currently working for the State of Arizona. Thankfully the medical assistant and Dr. Yelamanchili were very professional and compassionate to provide a sense of compassion towards their patients. I drove from San Tan Valley to your office in hopes of the continuity of excellent patient care to be provided for my dad, but after today's visit, we will not be returning to your office and although, Dr. Yelamanchili has been highly recommended cardiologist, the front office staff lack a sense of compassion and professionalism to match your Core Values! While I understand they may have been quite busy, they were not busy enough to share off side comments and communications between themselves that did not give out a great first impression on the office. Perhaps, more customer service training for your staff as a way to keep patients in your office. I hope that my email is a learning moment for the continued Core Values that your office puts out to draw patients/clients in to your office. Thank you for your time!
My first encounter with Dr. Yelamanchili was at the Cath Lab at Banner Heart Hospital, Feb 14, 2019. (Valentine's Day.) Where he saved my life, after I had a heart attack. Since that time, he has continued to work with me to greatly enhance my quality of life. He recently performed an angiogram on my right leg to clear out blockages and enhance blood flow to my leg, to aid in the healing of a bad cut in my leg which for five months wouldn't heal. (Since then, it healed in three weeks.) He has taken me from being nearly bed ridden, to being able to shop with my wife, and even work in the yard planting trees. Currently, Im planning a family vacation to Florida where I'm hoping to be able to take long walks on the beach with my beatuiful wife, once again. As Dr. Yelamanchili says, "Walk, walk, walk! I cant thank this man enough for enabling me to have these experiences. It's all about quality of life. Thank you, Dr.!
Dr. Yelamanchili saved my husband's life with a quick diagnosis of my husband's heart attack, and working with the cardiac surgeon for treatment and follow up. He made himself available in seconds and cleared his schedule to work with my husband for about five hours at the hospital. He actually showed me the live scan of the arteries that were clogged and explained next steps. He was so calm that he made me at ease as well. I will never forget when he looked me in the eyes and told me it was great that I got my husband to the hospital so quickly. I did not know until I researched the diagnosis but the type of heart attack my husband suffered was called "the widow maker". Dr. Yelamanchili diagnosed it quickly and saved my husband's life. P.S my husband was 49 at the time , athletic (ie; Rugby, mountain biking, hiking, canoeing, and gym) and normal body mass index- we had no clue that such a healthy person could suffer this. Dr. Yelamanchili caught it right away and saved his life.
This arrogant man, does not listen to his patient. His front desk staff were eating soup as I waited to check in. When I was finished with him, I wasn't sure if I should stop at at a funeral home or a cemetery.
Not only is Dr. Yelamanchili knowledgeable and caring, he pays attention. He listens and takes necessary action. If he had not been astute and judicious, I may have suffered for a long time with a disease unrecognized by other physicians. If you are in need of a brilliant cardiologist, you have found him. I’m 77 and have seen many doctors; he’s one of the very best.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
