List of Rodrigo Chan's Reviews
Waited for over an hour & a half for my appointment & still wasn't seen. Decided to walk out & will try a different cardiologist who cares about their patients' time.
Probably the best cardiologist in the world... But I am heavily biased because ... I could never do what he did to my own heart. And... I experienced the worst pain I ever felt in my life while under his care. But that is only because I'm oddly tolerant to the drugs for not feeling or moving during heart procedures. Every single time I have waited two or more hours to see him has been well worth it. Because come on, Do you really want your doctor to skip out on you after two minutes of "kind of listening?"
Dr. Chan and his team are knowledgeable and professional in their specialty. I have nothing but respect and gratitude for their dedication to provide the best care for me. I highly recommend Dr. Chan and his entire staff.
My original experience with this office was positive and I even highly recommended to family and friends. I would never do so again, or go back to this office. Extremely inconsiderate and rude with no consideration of patients time. They will leave you sitting in the lobby for at least 2+ hours and forget trying to get someone on the phone. I have called multiple times just to hear a recording I am first in the que and 15 minutes later still getting the same message. And regardless of waiting 2 minutes or 20 minutes when you press 1 to leave a message for a call back you hear a recording that you have extended the wait time and to call back. Extremely inefficient and lack of customer service. It takes a lot for me to write a negative review because I am normally pretty understanding and tolerant. But each interaction with this office is worse than the prior.
Dr. Chan has literally saved my life. He has fantastic bedside manner and is always bc professional. He works so hard for his patients. He accepted me while I was on state insurance with no questions asked. He has helped me with proper meds when the ones I was on previously were making me pass out (hospital docs prescribed). He may have wait times because he is so thorough and complete with his patients. He always listens to my concerns and does what is needed for me ALWAYS. HE IS AN AWESOME DOC who truly cares for his patients and explains whatever is needed. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND.??
Rodrigo Chan, MD is an incredible cardiologist/electrophysiologist (EP). Working in healthcare marketing, I meet a lot of physicians, and Dr. Chan comes highly recommended by physicians who know him and work with him- from anesthesiologists to internal medicine physicians. He has been my cardiologist/EP for several years now, and my cardiac health has never been better. He is a clinical expert and also genuinely cares about his patients and treats them as individuals. Highly recommend.
We love Dr Chan. We have had many experiences with him in the office and hospital. He has been caring and amazing with us and other family members he treats. Yes absolutely we have waited for extended periods of time to see him. We don't care because he is worth it. He works tirelessly to treat everyone he can. We know that if we have to wait its because he is providing care for another patient. His dedication to care and serve others is unparalleled.
Our last visit and every visit has been a positive experience. Not only Dr. Chan's expertise but his entire staff is professional, friendly, clean & ready to serve as needed.
Dr Chan is the best Cardiologist. He took care of my husband for 10 years and now I am his patient. I always get the best care from him and his staff.
I was referred by my PCP to see Dr. Chan for secondary hypertension due to another condition. My appointment was in the morning and I wasn’t called in to be seen until later that afternoon, hours later and after nearly all other patients had gone. It was so busy when I got there and dead when I left. When they did call me back, it was to see the Nurse Practitioner, not the doctor. The NP disregarded my symptoms and my PCP’s request and then went on a sales pitch for diet pills made of seaweed. Meanwhile they give away salty snacks and hard candy in the lobby. If I could give negative stars I would.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
