Dr. Stevens gave me the best care that I could have ever received! He was thorough in his explanations, careful in surgery to do the very best for me, and available for questions before and after surgery. His assistant, Kelly, was also spectacular in relaying information to Dr. Stevens and getting back to me quickly with answers. I am thankful to have had such great care from him and his team!

He saved my life by finding a huge cyst in mastoid bone my other doctors missed. Then returned hearing in that ear. He is kind and caring. He talks to you not over your head. He is a true gift of god. Ruth Stedman 72 years old.

After more than three years of research & attending meetings I heard Dr. Stevens at a Cochlear Company informational meeting and made the decision to get a cochlear implant (bi-modal with a special hearing aid in one ear.) Dr. Stevens listened to me in depth during a couple of pre-surgery meetings. Recovery from this surgery was not painful as I had expected and once the implant was 'turned on' 3 weeks later I could hear complete sentences, albeit sounding initially like Minnie Mouse on a transistor just behind my ear. Life changing. Very grateful to Dr. Stevens for his surgical gifts and to his staff, esp. Lisa Thompson, Aud.

After traveling to San Diego (from Phoenix) for surgery to remove an acoustic neuroma, I unfortunately, acquired an infection in the wound upon returning home. Thankfully, my out of state doctors set me up with Dr. Stevens. Ultimately, I ended up having to have a second surgery. Dr. Stevens took over my case, no questions asked, and was able to provide with me the most thorough and attentive care. He is both extremely professional and personable. I feel he truly cares for his patients and their well-being!
