He is a nice guy, but they never return a call. They will make tell you they will call you back just to get you off the phone
HE HAS BEEN MY CARDIOLOGIST FOR ALMOST 13 YEARS. I LOVE HIS BEDSIDE MANOR AND THE FACT HE WILL SIT DOWN AND TALK WITH YOU NOT AT YOU. A GREAT LISTENER AND OUTSTANDING SERVICE
This gentleman has been my cardiologist for over 12 years. He is kind, empathetic and truly cares about his patients. He treats you like family (the good kind of family) and takes his time to listen to you and your significant other if she has any questions. One of the few providers who will sit down look you in the eyes and listen.
Dr. Lipskind is very professional, friendly, personally interested in me, the patient. He is comforting, not judgmental, and has a positive demeanor. I trust his knowledge, his recommendations, and have no reservations telling him my concerns. My visits have been relaxed and not rushed.
Dr Lipskind said he dislikes fat people. As a heart surgeon. I don't know how many fat people have heart problems, but I bet they are his bread and butter. I don't know how he feels about old people, but if I had to guess, I'd say he hates them too. And he is one. Anyway, if you care about this type of "candor", I'd steer clear. If you care that they aren't on time, I'd steer clear for that reason too. Just a real putz.
I like this guy, he's personable and seems genuinely concerned about a patient's health. He tested me, found nothing, yet he had a "hunch" and followed it. Diligently. In spite of all the tests that proved nothing, he found a blocked heart artery. Kudos, applause!
I had 3 stents placed after a major heart attack a couple weeks ago. Since discharge, I have had to call his office 2 times and wait 48 hours to get home oxygen. He sent me home on blood pressure medicines that were so potent and unnecessary, I couldn't function for 3 days from low blood pressure. Left messages day before yesterday about it, finally had to find a competent cardiologist for follow up who took me off 4 meds before Dr. Lipskin's office called back - 36 hours and 4 phone calls later!!! This doctor has no idea how to follow critical care patients.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
