Excellent Doctor, he took the time to explain my husband's condition in great length. Dr Chugh first saw my husband in the hospital and called him at home to check on him. Most Dr's don't do that. He was very thorough in his knowledge about my husband's condition. Dr was courteous and sincere. We would highly recommend this Dr to anyone in need of a Nephrologist.

I credit Dr. Chugh with saving not only my kidneys, but actually saving my life. He presents as a knowledgeable, honest, caring, firm but compassionate, MD.

Saw Dr. Chugh. His approach was to dismiss any complexity related to my condition that he was unable to address, as “focusing too much” on my condition. This is a reliable and disturbing red flag for any doctor. He asked very few questions and displayed no curiosity as to the history or specifics of my condition. When pressed about specific questions relevant to my condition and the safety of needed tests, he simply stating "it should be OK." When asked about further specifics not considered in that response, he became dismissive, giving evasive answers. In short, the intellectual and professional deficiencies of Chugh were both obvious and egregious. I have discussed the same issues with GPs and doctors from unrelated specialties that had a better understanding of nephrology than Chugh. That fact that he will be billing me for what amounted to a complete waist of my time, is simply an insult.

While opinions always seem to differ slightly, Chugh's approach was to dismiss any aspect of my health issues that contained even a modicum of complexity.
