Yasir Shareef's Online Review Report Card

When I asked this neurologist for a spinal MRI, dr Shareef rolled his eyes and laughed at me. I was shocked. I had told his PA (Abraham)that I had been sick for a long time and I was desperate for help. His PA (Abraham) already told me that he felt sure the doctor would do an MRI and he would be able to figure out my problem. That is not at all what happened. Instead, the doctor argued and made fun of me and tried to make me look stupid in front of his staff. It bothered him that I disagreed with him, and he was nasty about it and tried to embarrass me. I got the MRI, despite his efforts to get my insurance to deny it, and he was wrong about EVERYTHING. Who else has he mistreated???? Take care of yourself! Go elsewhere!

Yasir Shareef is an incompetent doctor with a big ego and shoddy medical knowledge. I’ve never had a doctor treat me so disrespectfully. He mocked me in front of his staff, raised his voice, convince me I didn’t know anything about medicine and I wasn’t really sick and I didn’t really need tests. This is what he opened with, after quickly getting debriefed by his PA on my situation but before asking me any questions and before he did any tests. Guess what? “Doctor” Yasir Shareef was wrong about everything. Through my MRI report, I learned that I have moderate to severe cervical spinal stenosis and bone spurs in several vertebrae that are poking the thecal sac holding my spine and causing me great pain. When I told his office manager that I was thinking about writing a poor review because I had such a bad experience . She told me he wouldn’t care bc doctors don’t care about reviews. I told her, “well he should care because those are his clients thoughts and opinions.”

Absolutely awful. Will call other doctors idiots right to your face. Tells you all other diagnostic testing you've done is fake. He apparently is god and knows all. Horrendous attitude and a vicious know it all complex.

Very fast paced I was in and out. N quickly. Didn't seem interested in previous lab results from the ER and didn't offer much if any technical information or an explanation of my situation just said probably stress or boredom.

The supporting staff at Dr S. Shareef are the most kind people! However, Dr Yasir S. Shareef is rude condescending and he will gaslight your symptoms. I hated being alone with him because I felt so uncomfortable. His office staff even told me to go see other neurologists, because Shareef is not good. After seeing him for chiari malformation he told me I was fine and would have to live with my symtoms for the rest of my life. A week later I had to spend a week in er, neurosurgeons want to operate because my chiari malformation is so bad it's blocking my spinal fluid flow which could cause mental defects and death. Do your research before you see this doctor. If he isn't famliar with your condition he will gaslight you. Don't give up, find someone who listens and respects you!

I was suffering from narcolepsy and sleep apnea. Dr Shareef was very thorough and professional. He helped me tremendously. I would definitely recommend him to anyone suffering from sleep disorders.

Worst dr ever ! My girlfriend went to this dr due to an issue with pulsatile tinnitus in the ear . He argued with her . YES argued and told her that her problem was irrelevant because there are no arteries in the neck. Are you kidding me !?! What “neurologist” thinks there are no arteries in the neck !? He then proceeded to tell her she is going dead, even though she had seen an ent and passed a hearing test with flying colors. Seriously the worst dr ever !

I went to see this neurologist about a balance problem due to a stroke and he repeatedly accused me of being drunk...I do not drink! He did not even take time to review my MRI results from previous doctor. Very dissatisfied
