Alicia Barba's Online Review Report Card

If I’m honest, I only went to this physician after reading that she had graduated from Harvard University, thus, my presumption was that she was brilliant at everything cosmetic-dermatology related. I was WRONG. In fact, I should emphasize, very wrong. I went in for dermal fillers and got out of there pretty botched. Bruises lasted about two weeks. She made my face the shape of an alien because of how much she overdid my cheeks. Which, on top of Dr.Barba making them awfully prominent with excessive Juviderm, one is higher than the other one. I asked for one thing, she did what she wanted. Bottom line: I learned that while she might have graduated from Harvard that in itself is not an indicative of being good clinically wise. I ended up having to go elsewhere to dissolve the mess on my cheeks. Ended up spending a lot more than I had anticipated because of Alice Barba, MD. And, I tried to get my money back, but Barba MD’s ego is higher than life and she has been reluctant to give me back the money I WASTED at her office.

Take your money as you walk in. Make you wait 2 hours. Left without seeing dr. Got my visit credit before I left and had to pay $5 parking. Total disrespect.

Horrible customer service and zero results. They have paid media that draws customers to them and i have spoken to few girls who were so dissatisfied with this doctor. I went there for filler and I came home and my lips were flat and usually the lips are numb for an hour because the product has lidocaine. My lips felt like they were never touched . I called to address the issue. The nurse told me that the Dr. would call me back. She never called me. I disputed the charge and the clinic went that far to lie that I never followed up due to personal reasons which is a lie I proved to clearly to American Express. No class clinic.

I book my appointments with Irene Cuesta at Dr. Barba's office. She is very knowledgeable personable and thorough. I visit once a year.

Horrible, her practice requires to leave either credit card number or blank check! who does that with patients who have insurance!!!?? refuses to bill, and if you don't do it, then you'll pay in full. Not only that, but without any notice from their office, will procede to charge. Staff is rude and unprofessional.

The BEST. Of course there is going to be a cancellation fee if you don't show up, and that's in the Spa/Skin Clinic; they give you plenty of options to cancel. Barba has a full dermatology office and a Skin Clinic/Spa, so covers all bases of dermatology. I saw a PA and she was helpful, quick, kind, attentive and I left with a treatment plan. I will definitely be a loyal patient.

cancellation fee 50 dr visit expensive and have seen no results. staff no knowledge and attitude. worst experience ever. appointments take about a month and parking is expensive. you dont even get results they made me go back a few times just to get money. I spoke to a person in charge in person dont want to mention there name and that person told me that the cancellation fee is a rule because most people cancell to get pedicure and they have to pay there employees. I do understand somewhat but my car broke had no way of getting there. finally I borrowed a car and went. it was a nightmare still no results and now I am just upset. please don't advise anyone to go here

If you are not going for cosmetic issues, forget about it. Waiting time is insane, and when a doctor finally shows up, she has a "diva attitude".

Best dermatologist in miami, the location is very good and the office is beautiful!!
