I just want to share my mom’s story for people to be wise and always look for a second opinion. My mom was seeing Dr Raju as her main cardiologist, she was very happy with Dr Raju personality and felt comfortable with him. My mom have had previous heart valve issues and Dr Raju had all her clinical history, a year ago my mom started feeling week, she started retaining fluids and has a cough that worsened when she was on her back, all symptoms on hearth failure, Dr Raju and Dr Morales started treating her with expectorants, after multiple test some not even hearth related Dr Raju recommended to implant and pace maker on my mom’s heart, 4 months after that my mom died from an untreated heart condition both of her heart valve were damaged and were not repaired in time, her kidneys were failing due to the amount of diuretics that Dr Raju prescribed , a month prior to my mom’s death Dr Raju told us that my mom was on track to get better, not sure how a cardiologist can not recognize clear symptoms of heart failure, please always look for a second opinion, what happened to my mom could have been avoided if we would’ve been wise and get a second opinion from an experienced cardiologist.
