Since I can't put 0 stars. I was given him after my thyroid was taken out because of cancer.there were time I sat in that little room for over 2 hours. When I went to the ER they said my thyroid level was low went to him he said there was nothing wrong he said because I was 57 ya old I was going through menopause. I had a hysterectomy back in 2009 I was not going through menopause. He is the worst doctor in this state do not go to him.

I seriously wish I could rate this guy lower, his nurses won't even pick up the phone if you need prescription refills, he doesn't do his research on insurance, and he will put in so many refills that they expire before they even run out. I've already gone elsewhere, idk how he even has a medical degree for diabetes. If you get your labs done somewhere else in the SAME medical group, have the papers and everything, he will make you leave to get more labs, then you come back to find out you aren't even checked in, making you late.

DO NOT go to this “doctor” ! I walked out in the middle of him speaking to me. After waiting 4 hours in the office to see him, my first visit with him was very disappointing. I came in with concerns about my tachycardia and hypertension. He gave me absolutely NO opportunity to speak and discuss my symptoms. He was very unfriendly. He spoke over me. His presence greatly disturbed my spirit.He ended up giving me, a 22 year old female, the diagnosis of menopause!!! Yes, MENOPAUSE! And had set up for me to start estrogen injections that same day without even doing any blood work. After being told this, I simply got up and left the room. If I could, I would give him a 0 star rating. If you value your health and well being, Mahmood is not the person to see.

No respect for other people's time appointment was at 12:15 didn't get called back to a room till an hour latter waited 30 min there and I had to leave before I even see the dr why make an appointment if it's going to take that long and if you're lat it's a huge problem not happy at all

My appointment was at 10:45 this morning. It’s now 1:15 and I’ve yet to even catch a glimpse of Dr. Mahmood!!!! Absolutely ZERO respect for MY time but if you miss an appt here, you’ll still have to pay HIM for HIS time. His office makes you feel extremely UNimportant when you’re desperately sick & need help the most!!!

I do not recommend Dr mahmood. I was having some medical symptoms so I went to another doctor first. He said I needed an ultrasound. I had the ultrasound and he said I needed a biopsy. I came to see dr mahmood for a second opinion. The first thing that bothered me was he didn't take much time with me. The second and most important thing that bothered me was he would not do a biopsy. He said I didn't need it. So I left and went back to my other doctor and had the biopsy. After receiving the results of it I was diagnosed with cancer that's malignant which has metastasized to my lymph nodes. In my opinion and experience with Dr mahmood, I found him to not be a thorough or experienced enough healthcare provider. He also spent more time on his computer than with me.

You should wait a lot, it takes 4 to 5 hours for the doctor coming to see you , it's already It's hard for the patient.🧐

He is very kind and welcoming! He is the best endocrinologist that I have encountered in the East TN Region.

Even one star is too many. My son waited 3 hours to be seen on his first appointment. The staff and Dr Mahmood were rude and uncaring. Room was filthy. Now it is time for his follow up appointment and we still have not gotten a response from the office about getting medication he was supposed to take for a month then follow up. Avoid this place at all cost.
