Christopher Chen does not have an adequate amount of comments to generate the sentiment analysis.
Thorough, attentive, good communication skills, goes the extra mile.
Explains in detail the results of tests, procedures to be completed, potential options and is always caring
We have found Dr. Chen to be caring, interested, and knowledgeable. He thoughtfully and thoroughly answers questions, and takes the time necessary to ensure we fully understand the situation and his recommendations. It's been a good experience.
My husband has been seeing Dr. Chen for three years and he has always been kind and answers any question we may have,he never rushes out the door.
Dr. Chen treated me for three months for my pancreatic cancer. He repeatedly told me to take more ondansetron for my relentless vomiting and diarrhea. It did not work. I switched to a Banner oncologist who prescribed creon, the pancreatic enzyme used for pancreatic cancer patients. Instant relief! Dr. Chen knows he should have prescribed it.
Dr. Chen treated me for three months for pancreatic cancer. I was miserable with nausea and diarrhea. He kept telling me to take more ondansetron with little effect. I switched to a Banner oncologist who immediately prescribed creon. My condition improved instantly. Dr. Chen failed me.
Absolutely terrible doctor. Rude, insensitive, has zero bedside manner. Told my mother she had stage for bile duct cancer, that had metastasized to her liver, and then said he did not have time to answer our questions because he had to go pick up his daughter from daycare by 6pm. So unbelievable!!! Stay far away from this terrible human being. Does not care about his patients or their families. Drops devastating news and then whines about his workload and how many other patients he still has to see that day. Also super negative about prognosis and treatment options. Provided no information or resources to help my mom and our family through this very challenging time. literally rushed out complaining about how little time he had left to see 3 other patients before he could leave to pick up his daughter. Disgusting behavior. Wonder how he would like being treated that way, if it was his own mom in that hospital bed.

Dr Chen was an attending physician for my husband at Northwest Hospital in Oro Valley. Although we were there primarily to treat his dehydration and acute kidney failure, Dr Chen insisted that the Pet Scan of my husband's cancer that he had that day had doomed him to a hopeless future. Dr Chen was extremely blunt, rude, and outspoken, even in the company of other specialists and the hospitalist. Very poor bedside manner. I will be reporting him to the medical board for his inappropriate attitude and comments. Based on Dr Chen's recommendations, my husband left the hospital under the care of hospice, and died 4 days later.

All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
