Dr Karges explained the procedure well for my hernia surgery. I had very minimal pain after surgery and felt like I never had a hernia 2 months out. Great doctor and she performed my surgery wonderfully!

Communication skills are seriously lacking. Nothing forthcoming voluntarily. To my family, immediately following surgery - yes, to me directly - not at all. Neither during my 6 day stay in the hospital, nor during follow-ups, even when asked direct questions, the answers were quite minimal.

Dr. Karges was pleasant and sat with me to explain to me whether I should have surgery or not. She gave me her honest opinion and information. I appreciated her honesty. The office staff were very nice and helpful too.
